During his Singapore itinerary, the Indian trade minister engaged with senior leaders from various industries to present a portfolio of high‑growth opportunities.
Meetings with Fortis Healthcare’s chairman and IHH Healthcare’s group chief executive centered on collaborative possibilities in hospital management, tele‑medicine and health‑tech innovation. Goyal stressed that India’s expanding health‑care ecosystem, buoyed by rising middle‑class incomes, offers sizeable returns for investors.
He also discussed with the Singapore Business Federation’s president the potential for joint ventures in manufacturing, digital services and renewable energy, underscoring India’s ambition to become a global production hub.
Across all engagements, Goyal’s consistent message was that India’s policy framework, combined with a large, increasingly skilled workforce, equips foreign partners to tap into scalable markets.
