Government and Private Players Must Join Forces for Green Ammonia Roll‑out
Stakeholders agree that private sector participation is as vital as government support for the green ammonia ecosystem. While policy measures can bridge initial cost disparities, large‑scale financing and risk‑sharing mechanisms must come from industry players.
The association's director stressed that without active investment from corporates and cooperatives, the technology may remain confined to pilot projects. Joint ventures, public‑private partnerships, and venture capital funding are identified as pathways to accelerate deployment.
In addition to capital, a skilled talent pool and robust manufacturing facilities are needed. Training programs, technical upskilling, and knowledge transfer initiatives will help create a workforce capable of handling advanced ammonia production processes.
When all parties align their objectives, the sector can expect faster technology adoption, lower production costs, and a smoother transition to a greener fertiliser landscape.
