Google Accelerator 2026 Backs Startups Across Health, Climate, Finance, and More

In a statement released on Wednesday, Google confirmed that 20 Indian startups have been chosen for the 2026 edition of its Google for Startups Accelerator: India. The selection was made from an applicant pool of about 2,500 firms and coincides with a decade of Google‑run accelerator programs in the country.

The batch reflects the diversification of AI applications beyond pure language‑model use cases. Companies such as Aadalat AI are automating end‑to‑end court procedures, while healthcare innovators Akenist and Flexifyme use AI to streamline radiology workflows and manage chronic pain respectively.

Climate technology startups Orachyor and FitSol are deploying AI for hyper‑local climate observation, carbon tracking and enterprise sustainability reporting. In the fashion sector, Ayana assists brands in generating AI‑curated product catalogs.

Financial services are represented by Binox, Dodo Payments and OnFinanceAI, which employ AI to power due‑diligence, merchant payments, compliance checks and risk analytics. A suite of developer‑tool startups – CraftifAI, H2Loop AI, CreateOS (NodeOps), PipeShift and TartanHQ – are building AI‑augmented infrastructure, coding assistants and integration platforms.

Manufacturing receives AI vision solutions from Jidoka, while Proxjee merges AI, IoT and SaaS to digitise enterprise operations. Creative AI is embodied by SoundWaves AI, which offers AI‑based music creation tools, and Superbrain, focused on strengthening voice‑AI reliability. Finally, cybersecurity firm Jeron Software develops AI agents that locate and remediate cloud and software vulnerabilities. All participants will gain access to Google’s AI technologies, technical guidance, product development collaboration and global go‑to‑market mentorship.
