India’s first FMCG giant adopts low‑emission logistics through Greenline
Mumbai, July 22 – Dabur India Ltd, the country’s oldest and largest FMCG company, has entered into a logistics partnership with Greenline Mobility Solutions Ltd, the exclusive operator of LNG‑powered heavy trucks in India.
The agreement will see Greenline’s low‑emission fleet integrated into Dabur’s road transport operations, targeting a greener supply chain and a cut in carbon emissions. The shift to LNG trucks is expected to deliver significant reductions in greenhouse gases while keeping delivery timelines intact.
“The collaboration underscores the industry’s move toward decarbonisation,” said Charles Develin D’Costa, Vice‑President (Sales) at Greenline. “We are thrilled to support Dabur’s sustainability ambition.”
Global Director of Supply Chain Samrat Sahgal emphasized that the partnership offers a scalable solution to lower the environmental impact of moving goods across the country.
Greenline currently manages a fleet of over 1,000 heavy‑duty LNG and electric trucks, operating on major freight corridors and serving sectors ranging from steel to chemicals. The fleet has already logged more than 10 crore kilometres and helped clients reduce CO₂ emissions by over 27,000 tonnes.
