FedEx’s $150 Million Delhi Cargo Hub Set to Transform Air Freight

In a $150 million project, FedEx will establish a fully integrated air‑cargo hub within GMR Craigcity at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. The 230,000 sq ft complex will bring together international gateway functions and a streamlined pick‑up‑and‑delivery operation.

The automated facility is designed to process up to 5,000 parcels per hour, with provisions for future capacity expansion. FedEx’s regional head emphasized the hub’s role in strengthening trade links across northern and eastern India.

Craigcity spans 50 acres and can accommodate up to 2 million sq ft of development; the initial phase will cover about 1 million sq ft on 30 acres, with construction slated to start soon.
