Advanced Automation to Boost FedEx Package Processing to 5,000 per Hour

Spanning approximately 2.3 lakh square feet, the Delhi air cargo hub will be fully automated. The installation of next‑generation X‑ray scanners, intelligent package handling software and high‑speed auto‑sorters will raise processing capacity from the current 600 parcels per hour to an estimated 5,000 parcels per hour.

FedEx officials indicated that the scalability of the hub will accommodate future demand spikes, with provisions for further expansion. Enhanced security systems and real‑time analytics will ensure that shipments move swiftly while maintaining stringent safety standards.
