Digital finance expansion brings banking to 57 crore Jan Dhan accounts and beyond

Speaking at the Global FinTech Fest 2026, the Governor highlighted that more than 57 crore Jan Dhan accounts, 25 crore micro‑insurance policies and 9 crore Atal Pension Scheme beneficiaries now enjoy digital financial services.

Fintech is bridging the urban‑rural gap, offering low‑cost credit and digital wallets to women, farmers and MSMEs.
