Common Service Centres Expand to 4,07,122, Boosting Rural Digital Access

The Common Service Centre (CSC) network has grown to 4,07,122 operational units across the country as of 30 June 2026. These centres deliver not only government services but also banking, insurance, pension and bill‑payment facilities. Notably, 70,069 CSCs are run by women, highlighting a strong push for gender empowerment and digital inclusion in remote and underserved regions.
