CII’s Tri‑Regional Agreements Set to Enhance Global Market Access
New Delhi, August 3 – The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) announced the signing of three strategic accords with Business France and the India‑Arab Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture on Monday. The series of agreements is designed to boost India’s participation in global value chains through institutional cooperation, trade promotion, and technology partnerships.
The Business France pact will see both organisations co‑host trade missions, support joint research and development projects, and coordinate participation in major international trade fairs. The focus will be on sectors such as aerospace, automotive, agro‑technology and sustainable agriculture.
Meanwhile, the agreement with the IACIA aims to streamline the flow of trade delegations, share real‑time market intelligence, and promote joint ventures and technology licensing across the Arab world. The partners will also organise sector‑specific forums to address regulatory challenges and unlock new investment pipelines.
CII Secretary General Saurabh Sanyal remarked that these partnerships reflect India’s strategic intent to deepen its economic engagement with Europe and the Middle East, creating new avenues for Indian exporters and attracting foreign direct investment.
Industry experts view the tri‑regional framework as a catalyst for expanding export volumes, diversifying supply chains, and fostering innovation through cross‑border collaboration.
