Apple has announced a comprehensive update to its smartwatch lineup, introducing the Apple Watch Series 11, the Apple Watch Ultra 3, and refreshed versions of the Apple Watch SE. The Series 11 features minor enhancements, including a brighter display, building on the design introduced with the Series 10. The Ultra 3 stands out with a slightly larger screen and the addition of satellite connectivity, enabling users to maintain connections even without their iPhone. This move positions Apple to compete more directly with brands like Garmin, which are known for their satellite-enabled devices. The Apple Watch SE also receives its first update since 2022, demonstrating Apple’s continued focus on the entry-level smartwatch market, where it competes with brands such as Fitbit (Google) and Samsung.
