  • Gigi, Zayn ‘getting along fine’ for sake of daughter post-split

    By IANS

LOS ANGELES: Supermodel Gigi Hadid and former One Direction star Zayn Malik are reportedly “getting along just fine” as they’re trying to work things out as co-parents.

A source spilled to US Weekly about the current nature of the former couple’s relationship, reports aceshowbiz.com.

The source said, “Gigi and Zayn are getting along just fine,” adding that “they’ve been in each other’s lives in some way or another for the past few weeks.”

“There is no custody battle going on right now,” the so-called inside source went on saying. The insider added that the exes, who share their 16-month-old daughter together, are “just trying to work things out as co-parents,” noting that Zayn has been continuing to prove he is a “responsible father” to their little girl.

A separate source told In Touch that Zayn “has been working on himself.”

The insider said, “There’s still a strong emotional connection between him and Gigi, but there are also lingering trust issues.”

“He’d have to prove that he has fixed his anger problems and completely changed for Gigi to consider giving him another chance,” the source claimed.

“They’re taking it one day at a time and seeing what happens, but she’s prioritising Khai over anything else.”

Last October, Zayn, who pleaded no contest to four charges of harassment, reportedly begged his ex to take him back.

“He’s been begging and sobbing on the phone, insisting that it was an isolated incident,” a source close to the ‘Pillowtalk’ crooner claimed in November.

The source added, “Gigi is upset and shell-shocked but does believe he’s sorry, which has (Yolanda Hadid) terrified that she’ll take him back.”

As for Gigi, she’s reportedly “done” with Zayn.

“It’s been tough on all of them because they’re all so close. That’s her mom, but it’s still her baby’s father, even though their romantic relationship is over,” an informant shared in December. “This has not been easy on Gigi and has caused a lot of stress on relationships with her family.”

Gigi and Zayn reportedly ended their romantic relationship shortly after he reportedly struck ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star in the exes’ Pennsylvania home.

“They are not together right now. They are both good parents though,” a Hadid family friend claimed.

“They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild.”

  • Zayn Malik pleads no contest to harassment charges

    By ANI

WASHINGTON: Singer Zayn Malik has pleaded no contest to multiple charges of harassment against both his ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid and her mother Yolanda Hadid following a volatile argument in September at their Pennsylvania home.

The court documents were obtained by People magazine. The 28-year-old singer was charged with four counts of harassment after an incident on September 29 in which he allegedly “grabbed [Yolanda] and shoved her into a dresser, causing mental anguish and physical pain,” the documents stated.

The One Direction alum also allegedly hurled a series of insults and “continuous cursing” at Yolanda, including telling her to “stay away from his f–ing daughter.”

Zayn and Gigi, who recently called it quits, are parents to 13-month-old daughter Khai.

In a statement to TMZ, which first reported the news, Zayn denied claims that he had struck Yolanda, saying, “I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”

A source told People that while the singer “didn’t slap Yolanda,” he did place her in “an aggressive hold.” The source added, “Yolanda cannot stand him.”

Zayn was also charged with harassment against Gigi, with the court documents claiming that he told her to “Strap on some f–ing balls and defend your partner against your f–ing mother in my house” in a conversation a source previously told People magazine was over the phone while Gigi was away for work.

The ‘Pillowtalk’ singer faced an additional charge against John McMahon, whom he attempted to “physically engage in a fight…while continually cursing at him,” the documents stated. McMahon is a security guard who was on hand September 29, according to TMZ.

Zayn has pleaded no contest to the charges, though his plea was entered as a guilty plea, according to the documents.

The ‘Like I Would’ singer is required to serve 90 days of probation for each of the four counts, resulting in 360 total days of probation. He must also complete an anger management class and a domestic violence program and is barred from having contact with Yolanda or McMahon.

His probation will end if he goes six months without any violations.

The incident was first brought to the attention of the public in a statement Zayn shared to Twitter on Thursday, in which he said he wanted to create “a place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart,” adding that the incident “was and still should be a private matter.”

Multiple sources confirmed to People magazine that Zayn was referencing Yolanda in the statement. Shortly after, a rep for Gigi told the outlet in a statement that the star “is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time.”

Gigi and Zayn have been in an on-and-off relationship since 2015, though they last rekindled their romance in 2019.

  • Zayn Malik denies claims he struck Gigi Hadid’s mother Yolanda

    By ANI

WASHINGTON: Singer Zayn Malik has spoken out after allegations that he struck his girlfriend Gigi Hadid’s mother Yolanda Hadid, denying the claim.

On Thursday, Zayn tweeted a statement, saying while he’s typically a private person who wants to “create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in,” he chose to speak out because the situation was “leaked to the press”.

“As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in. A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart,” the singer wrote.

“In an effort to protect that space for her I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago. This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press. I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly, I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves,” he added.

Though he didn’t mention the outlet outright, TMZ had published a story involving claims that he struck Gigi’s mother, citing sources. Multiple sources also confirmed to People magazine that the family member Zayn is referring to in his statement is Yolanda.

Zayn told TMZ in a statement, “I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid, and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details, and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”

Zayn and Gigi share daughter Khai, who they welcomed in September 2020. The two stars began an on-again-off-again relationship in 2015, reported E! News.

Gigi released a statement of her own amid the ordeal. “Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time,” a rep told E! News.

TMZ reported that sources told the outlet that Zayn allegedly struck Yolanda last week and the former model is reportedly seriously considering filing a police report.

WASHINGTON: Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, who share 13-month-old daughter Khai, have called it quits.

Multiple sources confirmed to People magazine that the supermodel and the singer have broken up.

“They are not together right now. They are both good parents though. They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild,” said a Hadid family friend.

“Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time,” Gigi’s rep told the outlet in a statement.

News of their break up comes amid reports that Zayn and Gigi’s mother Yolanda Hadid were allegedly involved in an argument. Earlier on Thursday, Zayn released a statement following a TMZ report that Gigi’s mother Yolanda was considering filing a police report against Zayn for striking her, according to unnamed sources.

Zayn denied the accusation to TMZ and seemingly referred to the claims in a tweet on Thursday in which he said he has “agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.”

Gigi and Zayn have been in an on-and-off relationship since 2015, though they last rekindled their romance in 2019. Two months later, Gigi confirmed they were officially back together by sharing a photo of “Z” on her family’s farm in honour of Valentine’s Day. “HEY VALENTINE,” she wrote.

The pair welcomed their first child together in September 2020 and have since become notoriously private when it comes to details about their little girl–including keeping her face out of the social media photos they share to ensure her privacy.

  • ‘They are rigged’: Zayn Malik speaks out against Grammys over not being nominated

    By ANI
WASHINGTON: Singer-songwriter Zayn Malik recently shared his thoughts on the 2021 Grammy Awards and spoke out against the Recording Academy, four months after the nominations were announced.

The ‘Pillowtalk’ singer took to his Twitter handle and shared a scathing tweet that read, “F–k the grammys and everyone associated. Unless you shake hands and send gifts, there’s no nomination considerations. Next year I’ll send you a basket of confectionary.”

Fuck the grammys and everyone associated. Unless you shake hands and send gifts, there’s no nomination considerations. Next year I’ll send you a basket of confectionary.
    — zayn (@zaynmalik) March 9, 2021

As evident from the tweet, the ‘One Direction’ alum was not nominated this year for a Grammy. He never received a nomination from the prestigious awards ceremony since going solo in 2015, despite consistently releasing music nearly every year.

Zayn’s fans took note and poured in support for him on social media. One Twitter user wrote,”‘Pillowtalk’ was the biggest and most-streamed debut in 2016, Mind Of Mine was one of the biggest records in 2016.” He continued, “‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ was the most streamed song in 2017, ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ was #1 on charts for weeks in 2018. Yet ZERO nominations for Zayn. rigged system.”

Another user added, “no shade to Taylor Swift, but the fact that the Grammys nominated ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ for best written song & EXCLUDED zayn for no reason SCREAMS racism, even tho he wrote MOST of the song.”

Hours after posting the initial tweet, the singer followed up with a second one, and wrote, “My tweet was not personal or about eligibility but was about the need for inclusion and the lack of transparency of the nomination process and the space that creates and allows favoritism, racism, and networking politics to influence the voting process.”

As per E! News, Zayn is not alone in speaking out against this year’s Grammy nominations. When the nominations were announced earlier, The Weeknd was one of the first artists to share that he felt snubbed by The Recording Academy.

  • Gigi Hadid reveals name of her and Zayn Malik’s baby girl

    By ANI
WASHINGTON: Supermodel Gigi Hadid on Thursday (local time) revealed the name of her and Zayn Malik’s newborn baby girl – Khai.

According to E!News, the 25-year-old model debuted the unique moniker in a very subtle way — by adding ‘Khai’s mom’ to her Instagram bio.

The supermodel shared the news exactly four months after announcing their daughter’s arrival.

“Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful. To try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task,” Zayn wrote in a September tweet.

“The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding,” he added.

“Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x.”

Hours later, Gigi posted another glimpse of the couple’s daughter on Twitter. Hadid wrote, “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love.”

In the months since, Gigi has kept fans up to date on her motherhood experience, all while sticking to their commitment to privacy.

Shortly after Khai’s birth, a source told E! News that Gigi and Zayn planned to stay at her mom Yolanda Hadid’s Pennsylvania farm for the foreseeable future.

“They feel peaceful staying there for now,” the insider shared at the time. “Gigi wants the most privacy for their baby and wants to be able to raise her privately.”

The family of three also considers New York City a home base, and over the holiday season Khai got to experience what Gigi described as her ‘first snow.”

E!News reported that Gigi and the former ‘One Direction’ member Zayn, who first sparked romance rumours in 2015, reunited in late 2019 after breaking up earlier in the year.

In April 2020, reports surfaced that the couple was expecting their first child together-which Gigi later confirmed to Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’.

“Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support,” she shared.

“Especially during this time, it’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day.”
