Prime Minister Narendra Modi lit up social media on Monday with a tribute to India’s youthful vigor, proclaiming their steadfast resolve as incomparable. Posting on X, he emphasized how this unyielding spirit is fueling the country’s journey to fulfill long-held aspirations.

‘India’s youth power boasts unmatched resolve. Whatever our young companions resolve to do, they accomplish. This is precisely why our nation is bringing its dreams to life,’ the PM stated, highlighting confidence and determination as key drivers.

Complementing his remarks, Modi quoted a timeless Sanskrit subhashita: ‘Na va u mam vrjaney varayante na parvataso yadaham manasye. Mama svanat krudhukarno bhayat evedan duyun kiranah samejat.’

The verse’s essence? ‘Your self-confidence wields immense power. Nothing can thwart your resolve. Towering obstacles like mountains pose no barrier. With willpower, you surpass even the sun’s might.’

Since December 2025, Modi has made it a practice to share such inspirational Sanskrit sayings, linking ancient insights to modern policy and public discourse. These are woven into his addresses, radio talks, and online posts, addressing themes from growth and equity to moral governance.

This approach revives Sanskrit’s role in India’s heritage, as seen in his inaugural December 8 post stressing its perpetual significance.

In an era of rapid transformation, Modi’s message resonates deeply, urging young Indians to tap into their potential and shape a brighter future. It’s a testament to how cultural roots can inspire cutting-edge ambition.
