  • A grand exhibition of Chag Khadi and Village Industries at Pandri Haat Bazaar, Lucky draw will be received by the winners.

    Chhattisgarh Khadi and Village Industries Board President Rajendra Tiwari and other guests inaugurated the 15-day exhibition to be held at Chhattisgarh Haat Bazaar in Pandri from Chhattisgarh Khadi and Village Industries Board Department. In this exhibition, there will be a discount of 30 percent on the purchase of Khadi textiles and 10 percent discount on the purchase of materials manufactured in village industries. Lucky draw will be done daily. Lucky draw winners will be given free jungle safari tickets and other attractive prizes.   • Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar Announces Honorarium Hike For Sportpersons In State

    Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced an increase in the honorarium of Arjuna, Dronacharya, and Dhyan Chand awardees and said that the upcoming year in 2021 would be observed as ”Sushasan Parinam Varsh” on Friday. 

    “During 2021, no stone will be left unturned to ensure that delivery of citizen-centric services to the people of the state is done in a time-bound and hassle-free manner,” said Khattar while addressing a state-level function held here to celebrate ”Good Governance Day” on the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Madan Mohan Malviya and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

  • Apple announces 15 best apps on its App Store in 2020

    Apple has announced the App Store Best of 2020 winners, recognising 15 apps and games that users should download.

    An exercise app by independent developer Andres Canella called WakeOut! Won the iPhone app of the year, while Zoom took the iPad app for the year award.

    “This year, more than ever before, some of our most creative and connected moments happened in apps. This was thanks to the amazing work of developers who introduced fresh, helpful app experiences throughout the year,” said Phil Schiller, Apple Fellow. “Around the world, we saw remarkable efforts from so many developers, and these Best of 2020 winners are 15 outstanding examples of that innovation.”

    Google may not be doing a YouTube Rewind, which is understandable considering the year that we just had. But that doesn’t mean Google is completely forgoing its end-of-year customs, with the company announcing the winners of its Google Play Best of Awards

    The awards celebrate the year’s most loved and trending apps, games, movies, and books. Categories including everything from best game to best everyday essentials apps featured stiff competition. There’s a lot to celebrate — and, as you might have guessed, streaming was a big winner, as were fitness and mindfulness apps.
