Tensions in Washington boiled over as National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard rallied behind President Trump’s Iran strikes, just hours after counter-terrorism director Joe Kent resigned in dissent. This marks the administration’s first top-level fallout directly tied to the war.

In her statement, Gabbard invoked Trump’s massive voter support, positioning him as the ultimate decision-maker on national security. As Commander-in-Chief, he evaluates threats and acts to safeguard America – a duty she says he fulfilled based on integrated intelligence from her office.

The Hindu-American leader detailed how all available data pointed to Iran’s regime as an existential risk. Trump’s action followed a meticulous review, ensuring decisions were grounded in facts, not politics.

Kent, however, saw it differently. His resignation cited conscience, rejecting the war’s premise: no real US threat from Iran, just undue influence from Israel and its US allies. The White House fired back, calling his letter riddled with lies, especially the no-threat claim peddled by opponents.

Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt revealed Trump’s evidence of Iran’s first-strike intentions, drawn from diverse intel sources. Trump didn’t hold back, telling reporters Kent’s ouster was a relief, given his flawed view that Iran wasn’t dangerous – a stance at odds with worldwide recognition.

Trump reflected on Kent’s personal qualities but lamented his security shortcomings. This episode underscores the high stakes of the Iran campaign, with Gabbard’s defense bolstering Trump’s position while exposing internal fractures that could shape the conflict’s path forward.

President Donald Trump shared sobering yet determined news on Monday: his Chief of Staff Susie Wiles is battling early-stage breast cancer but vows to keep serving at the White House during treatment. The announcement, posted on social media, painted a picture of unyielding resolve amid personal health challenges.

Describing Wiles as a ‘wonderful person’ and ‘one of the strongest people I know,’ Trump detailed her immediate action post-diagnosis. She has assembled a top-tier medical team and started treatment without delay, all while committing to her demanding role.

‘Her medical team is outstanding, and during treatment, she will spend almost all of her time at the White House,’ Trump noted. This reflects Wiles’ reputation as a trusted confidante whose passion fuels the administration’s key initiatives.

Trump delved into her character, saying her power and devotion shine through even now. As a core member of his inner circle, Wiles plays a crucial part in driving the team’s success and serving the nation.

The First Family stands solidly behind her. ‘Melania and I are with her in every way, and we can’t wait to team up with Susie for more great achievements benefiting America,’ Trump affirmed.

Echoing this sentiment, Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt hailed Wiles as the epitome of strong leadership. ‘She shows what a true strong leader looks like – one of the best people I’ve ever seen,’ Leavitt said. As Wiles navigates this health hurdle, her story inspires resilience within the White House and beyond.

In a biting social media exchange, Ben Stiller has trolled the White House’s official X account after it featured a scene from his satirical war comedy Tropic Thunder in a promotional video. The 60-year-old actor didn’t mince words, urging officials to remove the clip and distancing his work from what he called a ‘propaganda machine.’

The video in question was a high-energy compilation blending iconic moments from blockbuster hits—Top Gun dogfights, Superman heroics, Transformer battles, Breaking Bad intensity, Iron Man action, and Stiller’s own Tropic Thunder antics—with real U.S. military footage. Captioned ‘Justice the American way,’ it aimed to rally patriotic fervor but instead sparked artist fury.

Stiller’s retort was direct: ‘Hey White House, please take down the Tropic Thunder clip. We didn’t license it to you and have zero interest in being part of your propaganda machine. War is not a movie.’ His comments align with a growing list of celebrities protesting similar appropriations, including Celine Dion, Bruce Springsteen, Linkin Park, Neil Young, Olivia Rodrigo, and Radiohead.

Kesha joined the fray earlier this week, slamming the use of her track ‘Blow’ in a TikTok video depicting explosive naval warfare. ‘War is not a game or a movie,’ she declared on Instagram, emphasizing her stance against violence glorification. The White House’s response was dismissive, with Communications Director Steven tweeting that such complaints only boost their visibility: ‘Thanks for the attention.’

This pattern of repurposing pop culture for political messaging isn’t new. Recall the Trump-era video on immigration enforcement raids that ignited public debate. As Stiller’s rebuke gains traction, it underscores a broader cultural clash: the line between inspiration and exploitation in an era of viral propaganda. Will the White House comply, or double down? The internet watches closely.

In a bold move, Ben Stiller publicly trolled the White House’s social media team over their use of a Tropic Thunder clip without permission. The actor, known for his sharp wit, used platform X to demand the clip’s removal from a post promoting American military might.

The video in question is a slick edit mashing up iconic moments from blockbuster hits—Top Gun dogfights, Superman heroics, Transformers battles, Breaking Bad intensity, Iron Man tech, and Stiller’s own Tropic Thunder satire—with genuine U.S. military action footage. Captioned ‘Justice the American way,’ it aimed to rally patriotic fervor but backfired spectacularly.

‘Hey White House, kindly remove the Tropic Thunder clip. No permission given, and no desire to fuel your propaganda. War isn’t entertainment,’ Stiller posted, striking at the heart of the issue: the blurring lines between Hollywood fiction and real-world conflict.

This wave of celebrity pushback is part of a larger pattern. High-profile names including Celine Dion, Bruce Springsteen, Linkin Park, Neil Young, Olivia Rodrigo, and Radiohead have all protested the White House’s habit of borrowing their work. Kesha joined the fray days ago, slamming a TikTok video that synced her track ‘Blow’ to explosive naval warfare scenes.

‘War should never be trivialized,’ Kesha declared on Instagram, emphasizing her stance against her music promoting aggression. The White House’s Steven Cheung dismissed it online, suggesting the complaints only boost their visibility: ‘Thanks for the free publicity from these artists.’

Echoing past controversies, like the Trump-era ICE arrest montage, this incident reveals ongoing friction. Stiller’s intervention not only protects his film’s integrity but sparks debate on ethical boundaries in digital propaganda, urging vigilance in an era where memes meet missiles.

In a powerful show of support, top U.S. military veterans and policy experts have branded President Trump’s ‘Operation Epic Fury’ a masterful blow against Iran. Released by the White House on Sunday, their statements highlight how the operation sent shockwaves through the Middle East, crippling Tehran’s grip on power.

‘Immense scale, brilliantly executed,’ raved retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, tipping his hat to Trump’s outstanding handling. Retired Gen. Jack Keane added that its calculated design promises enduring effects.

From the Ronald Reagan Institute, Roger Zakheim declared the attacks shifted Middle East dynamics, making America safer – the decade’s defining strike. Yorktown Institute head Seth Cropsey detailed the precision hits on Iran’s clerics, missiles, and controls, paving its downfall.

Foundation for Defense of Democracies CEO Mark Dubowitz asserted Trump’s unique feat in neutralizing Khamenei’s threats. Fellow expert Mideast Maliuki celebrated him as history’s first champion of Iran’s oppressed, armed with bold foresight.

The Wall Street Journal editors framed Saturday’s U.S.-Israel operation as essential deterrence against global terror’s chief exporter, balancing risks with transformative promise for peace.

Mike Pompeo, ex-top diplomat, said Trump safeguarded the West. Naftali Bennett, former Israeli leader, quipped the key takeaway: steer clear of Trump. ‘The world is safer today,’ he forecasted, with gratitude to follow.

Hugh Hewitt praised the president’s speech as steady and sure. This wave of acclaim positions Operation Epic Fury not just as a tactical win, but a strategic pivot redefining U.S. resolve against aggression.

Reports swirling about President Donald Trump potentially firing FBI Director Kash Patel have been met with a strong defense from the President himself. Trump publicly stated that Patel is ‘doing a great job,’ dismissing allegations that he was considering the FBI chief’s removal. These rumors gained momentum following a report suggesting Trump’s frustration with negative headlines surrounding Patel, particularly concerning the alleged misuse of government resources. The report claimed Trump was weighing replacing Patel with Andrew Bailey, the FBI’s co-deputy director. However, the White House has vehemently denied these claims, labeling the story ‘completely made up.’ A spokeswoman shared an anecdote of Trump laughing off the report, calling it false and even taking a photo with Patel to showcase his positive performance. FBI directors are appointed to 10-year terms to ensure independence from political pressures, a safeguard potentially relevant to Patel’s situation. Patel, known for his loyalty to Trump, has previously expressed views on restructuring the FBI, including advocating for the removal of its intelligence-gathering authority and purging employees not aligned with Trump’s agenda.

Recent speculation suggesting FBI Director Kash Patel might be replaced has been directly addressed by President Donald Trump, who has strongly refuted these claims. Reports, including one from MS NOW, indicated that Trump and his advisors were considering a change at the FBI leadership due to negative press surrounding Patel. The outlet cited anonymous sources close to internal discussions, suggesting that potential successors were being explored.

However, President Trump publicly dismissed these rumors, stating, “No, he’s doing a good job. Kash Patel? He’s doing a great job, I think.” This clear endorsement aims to quell any uncertainty about Patel’s position within the administration.

The White House has also actively pushed back against the reports. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt characterized the MS NOW story as “completely made up,” adding that she witnessed the President meeting with Patel and other law enforcement officials when the news broke. She further elaborated that Trump was amused by the speculation and even took a photo with Patel to emphasize his support and confidence in the FBI Director.

Despite the official denials, the initial report from MS NOW had named Andrew Bailey, a senior FBI official, as a potential candidate to succeed Patel. The same report suggested that Patel was under pressure, although the possibility of Trump changing his mind was also acknowledged.

Kash Patel has been the subject of increased scrutiny concerning his leadership of the bureau. Issues raised include his security detail arrangements, the use of government aircraft, and reported internal friction with other Trump-aligned figures within the FBI. Andrew Bailey has previously been mentioned as a possible candidate not only for the FBI Director role but also for the Deputy Director position, which is currently held by Dan Bongino.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman stated at the White House that Osama bin Laden deliberately utilized Saudi citizens in the 9/11 attacks with the specific goal of fracturing the strategic relationship between the United States and Saudi Arabia. Addressing reporters alongside US President Donald Trump, Prince Salman emphasized that the devastating attacks were orchestrated to undermine the long-standing partnership between the two nations. He cited CIA documents, suggesting bin Laden’s intent was to damage the US-Saudi alliance, which he believed was detrimental to extremist ideologies. The Crown Prince asserted that a strong relationship between the US and Saudi Arabia is crucial for combating extremism and terrorism globally, urging both countries to strengthen their alliance. He described the 9/11 attacks as a ‘huge mistake’ and assured that Saudi Arabia has implemented stringent measures and improved its systems to prevent any recurrence, expressing deep pain for the victims and their families. The press conference also touched upon the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, with President Trump defending Prince Salman, stating he had no knowledge of the operation, despite US intelligence assessments suggesting otherwise. Prince Salman also characterized the Khashoggi incident as ‘painful’ while denying any personal involvement.

In a notable political pivot, President Donald Trump has indicated a willingness to meet with New York City’s mayor-elect, Zohran Mamdani, following a period of intense public criticism. This unexpected overture comes after months where Trump repeatedly attacked Mamdani, referring to him with derogatory labels and predicting negative consequences for the city under his leadership. Trump had also previously raised the possibility of withdrawing federal funds and even threatened deportation for Mamdani, who is a naturalized U.S. citizen born in Uganda.
Mamdani, who secured a significant victory over former Governor Andrew Cuomo, has positioned himself as a key figure challenging the current administration’s policies. His campaign emphasized progressive ideals and a strong stance against Trump, resonating with a broad spectrum of New York voters. Following his win, Mamdani expressed a commitment to working collaboratively, stating his readiness to engage with anyone who can benefit the city and its residents. His team has acknowledged the necessity of a working relationship with the White House to ensure the city’s prosperity.
President Trump’s recent comments, made while en route to Washington, suggested a desire for resolution, stating, ‘We will work something out… We want to see everything work out well for New York.’ This marks a significant departure from his prior rhetoric, signaling a potential new phase in federal-city relations. While no meeting date has been established, the White House has confirmed that the President was indeed referring to the mayor-elect, indicating that dialogue may be on the horizon.

President Donald Trump has unequivocally denied reports suggesting the United States is planning or has authorized military strikes against Venezuela. The White House has labeled such claims as baseless and emphasized that any official military actions would be directly announced by the President himself. Trump, speaking to reporters, stated ‘no’ when questioned about authorizing strikes in Venezuela. These denials come amidst reports of the Trump administration conducting at least 14 strikes on small boats in the Caribbean and Pacific since early September, actions described as anti-drug operations. A separate report indicated Washington was preparing to target Venezuelan military sites, with strikes believed to be imminent.

White House spokesperson Anna Kelly refuted the rumors, stating that ‘unnamed sources don’t know what they are talking about.’ She reiterated that President Trump is the sole source for any official announcements regarding military operations. Previously, Trump had hinted at further actions, suggesting ‘the land is going to be next’ following maritime operations against suspected drug-smuggling vessels. The U.S. has also deployed guided missile destroyers and a naval strike group, including an aircraft carrier, to Latin America as part of its counter-drug efforts, which officials allege involve the Maduro regime in international narcotics trafficking.

Meanwhile, political divisions persist within Venezuela. President Nicolas Maduro, who denies U.S. indictments for drug trafficking and corruption, accused Trump of attempting to overthrow his government. Maduro vowed that Venezuela’s populace and military would resist any foreign intervention aimed at removing him from power.
