Authorities revealed that the incident occurred on November 29th near Purnapani Bazaar Tola in the Tonto police station area. Mukru Degam, a 50-year-old resident of Purnachasaiba, was at the weekly market when the tragic event unfolded. A dispute overlocally brewed liquor, known as ‘handiya’, reportedly escalated into a violent confrontation.

The accused allegedly attacked Degam with stones and sticks, leading to his death. Following the crime, the perpetrators fled the scene. Acting on directives from the Superintendent of Police, a special investigation team was formed under the leadership of Jagannathpur Sub-Divisional Police Officer Raifal Murmu. With the assistance of the technical branch, police successfully apprehended all three suspects from Kenjra village on November 30th, a swift operation.

During interrogation, all three have confessed to their involvement in the murder. Based on their confessions, police have recovered crucial evidence, including a blood-stained stone, a wooden stick, and the clothing worn by the accused during the commission of the crime. The swift action by the police has brought closure to the community and ensured that those responsible will face justice for the heinous act.

According to her brother, Bablu Tirkey, Manisha was returning home on her scooter with a friend after finishing her duty. After dropping her friend off at Lada Chowk, she continued her journey towards home. It was then that a youth on a motorcycle approached her from behind, shot her, and fled the scene. Her brother also mentioned that Manisha’s marriage had recently been arranged in Bartola village, Lodhma. The family had gone for a visit and returned to the news of the shooting. Police are actively investigating the incident and are examining all angles. The Rural SP, Praveen Pushkar, confirmed that three individuals on motorcycles were involved in the firing incident and that a thorough investigation is underway.

The Khunti police, acting on a special team directive from Superintendent of Police Manish Tappo, swiftly apprehended the accused. The arrested suspects have been identified as Shahid Mian, a resident of Baraik Toli in Karra, and Modasir Ahmad alias Mo Raja Khan, from Haider Complex in Khunti.

During interrogation, both suspects reportedly confessed to their involvement in the brutal assault. The motive behind the attack appears to stem from a long-standing dispute between Shafiq Mian and Shahid Mian over setting up a cosmetics stall (‘manihari dukaan’) in the Rola Guttu village market.

Acting on the information provided by the apprehended individuals, law enforcement officials successfully recovered a scooty believed to have been used in the crime, along with two live cartridges. The investigation and subsequent arrests highlight the rapid response and dedication of the Khunti police force in bringing perpetrators to justice.

The accused, Jabbar Singh, was the only one present at the time, as his son, Mangal Singh, was visiting his in-laws. Preliminary reports suggest the motive behind the brutal act was a domestic dispute.

A crowd of villagers gathered near the victim’s residence in the aftermath of the incident. The two sons claimed that Balwinder was their mother’s lover and live-in partner. According to information, the woman had separated from her husband some time ago. After the separation from her husband, she came into contact with Balwinder. After a few days, she started living in a live-in relationship with Balwinder. However, both the woman’s sons did not approve of this relationship. Disputes often occurred in the house over this.

The incident happened late Tuesday night. The deceased, Balwinder, used to visit the woman’s house frequently. The sons also objected to this. Moreover, suspicion was also deepening regarding Balwinder’s closeness to another woman. Because of this, the woman and Balwinder were also having disagreements.

Late Tuesday night, the dispute escalated to the point where the woman’s sons, Trilochan and Bhupesh, lost control. In anger, Trilochan attacked Balwinder with a shovel, and Bhupesh attacked him with a stick. After the attack, Balwinder fell there and died. Upon receiving information about the incident, the Nandini police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it to the district hospital for post-mortem.

After a preliminary investigation, the police took both the woman’s sons into custody on suspicion. During interrogation, both confessed to the crime. Police officials say that in the initial investigation, this case is related to a domestic dispute. The woman’s live-in relationship after separating from her husband and suspicion about Balwinder’s character proved to be the main reasons behind this incident. For now, the police have registered a case of murder and are questioning both the accused.

According to Rajiv’s family, Vijay lured Rajiv to his house on Thursday night around 10 PM under the pretext of fixing a motor. He then murdered Rajiv inside his house. Rajiv’s ear and half his neck were severed. The distance between the deceased’s home and the accused’s home is one kilometer. Rajiv worked as a laborer.

It is alleged that the deceased had an illicit relationship with the wife of his friend Vijay, which was a subject of discussion in the village. Vijay invited Rajiv to his house to repair the motor. A liquor party was held at his house, after which Rajiv stayed over. Later that night, Vijay saw his wife with Rajiv.

Following this, Vijay attacked Rajiv with a sharp weapon. In the first strike, Rajiv’s ear was cut off. In the second strike, his neck was severed, leading to his death. After Rajiv died, Vijay left his body in the courtyard and fled. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. The accused, Vijay, was arrested within a few hours.

ASP Pravendra Bharti stated that the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Three individuals are in custody and being questioned. The incident will be revealed soon.

Raghunath Uraon, a resident of Bhitada village in the Bhandara police station area of Lohardaga district, brutally murdered his wife, Phoolo Uraon. He buried her body inside a room in their house and continued to reside in the same room. The incident came to light when a foul odor started spreading from the house. Raising suspicions of foul play, the local residents reported the matter to the police. Upon arrival, the police took Raghunath Uraon into custody and questioned him. He confessed to strangling his wife, Phoolo Uraon, and burying her body in a room within their house.
