  • Vaccination of APL and frontline workers stopped in Chhattisgarh, BPL and Antyodaya card holders to get vaccinated

There is currently a break in Chhattisgarh on 18+ vaccination, due to the lack of vaccines, APL and frontline workers will not be vaccinated yet. Vaccination to these classes will start only after getting a new consignment.
However, vaccination of BPL and Antyodaya card holders will continue. Sufficient vaccine is available for both these classes. Let us tell that the vaccination for those belonging to APL category has been stopped in the state from Thursday, while the frontline workers were vaccinated on Thursday. Today the stock is closed at the end of the day. Both classes will be vaccinated after the new consignment arrives.

Once again, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has targeted the central government over the issue of lack of corona vaccine. He has said that vaccine deficiency may affect vaccination work in Chhattisgarh. Unfortunately, vaccine availability in the country is low. CM Bhupesh Baghel said that from 1 to 9 May, Chhattisgarh has received 5 lakh vaccines. Now when will anyone get the vaccine, no one is telling? Neither the vaccine companies nor the Government of India. The CM also said that the vaccine consignment is reaching the orders of the Central Government.

CM Bhupesh Baghel said that the central government has been conducting vaccination campaign since May 1 without any vaccine arrangements. The state governments have also completed its preparations. But today the vaccine is not available. The CM said that the central government should provide vaccine free of cost, while the Center needs to plan to deal with the third wave. At the same time, on stopping the new assembly and CM-ministerial house construction work, the CM said that due to the economic situation in the Corona era, we had to take this decision.

  • Singhdev said: Chhattisgarh vaccinated more than the national average

The central and state governments have come face to face with the Corona vaccination. Health Minister TS Singhdev has given a befitting reply to the questions of Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan. Singhdev said that the department has stood on the front of the vaccine which is being made available by the central government in the state. Vaccination in the state has been more than the national coverage.

Earlier, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan had tweeted that some states are demanding introduction of vaccination for people above 18 years of age. This should mean that they have vaccinated all health workers, frontline workers and senior citizens in their respective states. But the facts are completely different.

Singhdev said that about 10 percent of the state’s population has received the first dose of vaccine. The goal of the Health Department is that by the end of this month, 58 lakh 66 thousand 599 people in the age group of 45 years should be protected by giving the first dose. It is 20 percent of the total population.

So far, 25 lakh 25 thousand 833 people of this age group have received the first dose of vaccine. Still some people have various misconceptions in their minds that this will affect fertility or if they are not ill, then why get them put up, or get sick. The World Health Organization, UNICEF, various specialist doctors, the Drug Regulatory Authority of the Government of India are all saying that the vaccine is completely safe.
