At approximately 12 AM near Rishiram School on Manera Bypass, the suspects were stopped and frisked. Shubham, 28, and 36-year-old Vinod Lal from Gyansu yielded 4.73g and 4.31g of smack respectively—a combined 9.04g stash. Valued at 90,000 rupees, the contraband led to immediate arrests under NDPS Act provisions.

While Vinod has previous cases, both men’s histories are under scrutiny. They’ve been remanded to court as investigations deepen. The operation involved dedicated officers like SI Dilmohan Bisht and constables Deepak Chauhan and Sunil Maithani.
