The demand for electric vehicles is rapidly increasing in the Indian market, particularly for scooters. If you’re planning to buy a new electric scooter, this news could be useful. This article highlights some of the electric scooters available in the market that you can consider as options.

**Ola S1 Pro Sport (Gen 3)**
Ola Electric launched the S1 Pro Sport Gen 3 this year in August. The ex-showroom price is ₹1.50 lakh, and customers can pre-book the S1 Pro Sport for ₹999. Deliveries of the new Ola scooter will begin in January 2026. The new Ola S1 Pro Sport has a smaller 5.2 kWh battery pack compared to the S1 Pro+’s 5.3 kWh battery pack. However, its range has increased, and Ola claims an IDC range of 320 km. The battery pack can be charged from 20-80 percent in 15 minutes using a fast charger.

**Ultraviolette Tesseract**
The Tesseract is Ultraviolette’s first electric scooter based on the company’s next-generation platform. The ex-showroom price is ₹1.45 lakh. This scooter comes with 14-inch wheels and telescopic front suspension. It features a 7-inch touchscreen TFT instrument console, integrated dashcam, wireless charging for phones, and more.

**Hero Vida VX2**
Hero MotoCorp launched the Vida VX2 in July this year, which comes in two variants: VX2 Go and VX2 Plus. The prices are ₹99,490 and ₹1.10 lakh (both ex-showroom). It has a 2.2 kWh single removable battery with an IDC range of 92 km. According to Hero MotoCorp, it accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 4.2 seconds and has a maximum speed of 70 km/h. It features a 4.3-inch LCD digital display and has two ride modes – Eco and Ride.

**Kinetic DX**
Another major launch in the electric two-wheeler space was the Kinetic DX, inspired by the scooter of the same name from the 1980s and 90s. This scooter comes in two variants: DX and DX. The DX electric scooter is priced at ₹1,11,499 and ₹1,17,499 (both ex-showroom). The new Kinetic DX uses a hub-mounted 4.8 kW motor paired with a 2.6 kWh LFP battery under the floorboard. It offers a top speed of 90 km/h and a range of 102 km (base) or 116 km (top-spec) per charge.

**TVS Orbiter**
TVS launched its third electric scooter, the Orbiter, last month, with an ex-showroom price of ₹99,990. The Orbiter has a 3.1kWh battery pack, which TVS claims provides an IDC range of 158 km on a full charge. It includes several features such as a digital instrument cluster supporting smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, cruise control, hill hold function, and reverse parking assist.
