Today the entire nation is remembering the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Tributes are being paid to him on 30th January, Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary. Various programs are being organized in the state. In this episode, on Saturday, a tribute was paid to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle of India at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan. Officers-employees remembered the martyrs in their respective rooms. At 11 am, everyone stood in their place at the sound of sirens. With two minutes of silence, he bowed to the brave martyrs of India.

Chief Minister salutes Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary
Bhupesh Baghel has paid homage to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the great hero of the freedom struggle and the founder of Azad Hind Fauj, on 23 January. Paying his respects to Netaji, Mr. Baghel has said that Netaji played an important role in giving a new direction to the freedom struggle. He awakened people by calling them to fight against the British with steely slogans like “You give me blood, I will give you freedom”. The Chief Minister has said that Netaji strengthened the independence movement by forming the Azad Hind Fauj. Netaji will always be remembered for his struggle for India’s independence and for his invaluable contribution.

Tribute paid to the late Shri Ravindra Bhendia in the meeting of the cabinet held under the chairmanship of Mr. Baghel.
A cabinet meeting was held at his residence office here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel. A humble tribute was paid to the late Mr. Ravindra Bhendia, husband of the Minister of Women and Child Development, Mrs. Anila Bhendia, after a two-minute silence at the meeting. Shri Ravindra Bhendia died on the intervening night of October 4 and 5.
