The construction of the Ganga Expressway, which connects Meerut and Prayagraj, is nearing its final stages. Significant progress has been made, especially in the Hasanpur tehsil of the Amroha district, where the expressway is essentially complete. Currently, finishing touches are being applied, with the expectation that the route will be open to vehicles in the coming month. The 23.60 km stretch of expressway in Hasanpur was initially planned to be finished by October 12, 2025, but road construction and lighting are already done, and the drainage pipeline is in place. An overbridge and T-point have been constructed on the Hasanpur-Rahra road in Mangrola, accompanied by four toll plazas. Furthermore, the bridge over the Ganga River in Pandapur has been completed. Officials indicate that minor finishing work, delayed by rain, will be finalized within a month. The 594 km-long Ganga Expressway is anticipated to open in November, significantly reducing travel time between Meerut and Prayagraj. This will greatly benefit the residents of Amroha and provide convenient access for devotees traveling to the Tigri fair from Prayagraj and surrounding areas. Devotees from Meerut, Hapur, and Amroha will also find it easier to reach the Sangam for bathing. Additionally, the expressway will offer considerable relief to lawyers and litigants from western Uttar Pradesh, enabling them to travel to the Prayagraj High Court and return on the same day.

The journey between Delhi and Jaipur has become significantly faster with the completion of a new section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The 66.9-km Bandikui-Jaipur spur now allows travelers to reach Jaipur from Delhi in approximately three hours. Following a trial run that began on July 2nd, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) offered toll-free travel during the initial period. This new route bypasses the frequently congested NH-48 and NH-21, connecting Bandikui in Dausa district to Jaipur. Toll charges for the route are estimated to be between Rs 600 and Rs 690 when implemented. NHAI is conducting a forensic safety audit and final inspection before commercial operations commence. The spur, built at a cost of around Rs 1,368 crore, includes multiple interchanges, such as Khuri, for efficient traffic flow into Jaipur. During the trial phase, vehicles are permitted to travel at a maximum speed of 120 kmph. This expressway promises to reduce travel time, conserve fuel, and lower transportation expenses. The journey from Bandikui to Jaipur can now be completed in just 30 minutes, and the entire Delhi to Jaipur trip will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

The much-anticipated Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway has been completed, approximately eight months behind schedule. The 67-km expressway is designed to facilitate travel between Bandikui and Jaipur in just 30 minutes. The project, which cost around ₹1,368 crore, is a four-lane access-controlled highway, permitting speeds of up to 120 kmph.

The route spans across two districts, with 32.7 km in Dausa and 34.1 km in Jaipur. Five toll plazas have been constructed, including a virtual plaza at Shyamsinghpura. Motorists will be charged approximately ₹150 for a one-way trip. Originally slated for completion by November 2024, the project faced delays but now the construction work is complete, and the required road safety audit has also been done. The inauguration date is pending approval from the Union Road Transport Ministry.

It is anticipated that the expressway will be open to the public by June 2025. Its opening will significantly reduce travel time between Bandikui and Jaipur while improving connectivity to Delhi-NCR. This new corridor will begin at Bagrana on the Jaipur-Agra Road, enabling travelers heading towards Delhi to reach their destination within two and a half to three hours.
