  • JP Nadda To BJP Workers At Organisational Meet In Bengal ‘: Expose All Corruption In TMC

    BJP national president JP Nadda on Monday directed the party workers to expose all the corruption in the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal. In an emergency organizational meeting held with BJP workers in Siliguri, Nadda directed them to inform people about the tyranny of the ruling party and the culture of cut-money in the state.

    After the meeting, West Bengal BJP General Secretary Sayantan Basu told reporters that detailed discussion was held on the preparations for each Assembly constituency in light of the upcoming elections. Nadda laid emphasized on enhancing the performance and efficiency of the party at the booth level.

    Basu said the BJP national President expressed dissatisfaction with the TMC’s terror in the state. BJP workers in Bengal are facing fierce struggle every day and he also expressed concern over the killing of more than a hundred party workers. Besides, the State Government’s negligence in dealing with Coronavirus pandemic was also discussed in the meeting, he added. 

    During his day-long visit to North Bengal, JP Nadda paid tributes to Tagore Panchanan Burman at a ceremony at Nauka Ghat and later visited the Anandamoyi Kalibari Temple.

In reply, the Trinamool Congress said it is good that he accepted that Mafia-raj existed in those two states where the BJP is in power.

    Shukla, a councillor of Titagarh Municipality, was shot dead on Sunday by two bike-borne assailants. “The law and order situation of Bengal is worsening with each passing day. The police are hand in glove in the conspiracy to kill a mass leader like Shukla,” Ghosh claimed.

    Ghosh wondered whether free and fair polls would be possible in the state if such an anarchic situation continues. Assembly election in the state is due next year. “More than 120 BJP workers have been killed in the state in the last few years,” he said. The TMC leadership mocked Ghosh for his comments.

    Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh said that West Bengal is slipping into a ‘mafia raj’-like situation like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The way a councillor was shot dead in front of a police station by using a sten gun is shameful.

    He made this statement after a party leader Manish Shukla was shot dead in North 24 Parganas.On Monday (October 5),  A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers led by party leader Kailash Vijayvargiya met Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar at the Raj Bhavan, demanding CBI inquiry into the death of BJP councillor Manish Shukla.

    Earlier, he said that Trinamool Congress (TMC) delegation had gone to Hathras to perform a drama though such incidents happen in their home state.

    While speaking to the media Gosh said, “In Bengal, the law and order situation is out of control. Citizens don’t trust the state government and women are not safe. Incidents like the one that took place in Hathras happen in every district here every day but TMC representatives went all the way to Uttar Pradesh to do drama.”
