Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel gave the status of full new Tehsil to the Sub-Tehsil of Kurud Development Block in the last few days on 11 November 2020. The state government decentralized power in view of the troubles of the local people, under which Bhakhara Upatahseel was promoted as a tehsil. With this, the villagers of Bhakhara region will not have to cover the distance to Kurud for their revenue cases and works. Facilities will be made available locally to the 52 Gram Panchayats and 28 Mata villagers in 73 villages of Bhakhara to be made Tehsils. For various documents including caste certificate, income, residence, caste, villagers will not have to go to Tehsil Headquarters Kurud, 25 to 35 kilometers away.
Tehsildar Bhakhara said that Bhakhara was given the status of Upahsil on November 14, 1995, at that time there were 51 villages, 20 patwari mild, two revenue inspector boards. Now after getting the status of full tehsil, the number of newly established tehsil villages has increased to 73 and Patwari Hala has 28 and Revenue Inspector Board has increased to six. Similarly, there used to be 58 Kotwar and 49 Patels respectively in the sub-Tehsil Bhakhara, while now after the Tehsil was formed, the number of Kotwar has increased to 81 and the number of Patels to 71. He said that the population in Upathasil Bhakhara was 81 thousand 151, which has now increased to one lakh 09 thousand 283. Apart from this, the revenue area was 50 thousand 556 hectares, which has now become 28 thousand 483 hectares. Similarly, the number of account holders in Upathasil Bhakhara was 22 thousand 692, whose number has now increased to 30 thousand 713. In this way, Bhakhara’s arrival as Tehsil has saved the time, labor and money of the people of the area, while fixing a long distance for the execution of small governmental works also got relief.

Financial assistance of Rs. 16 lakhs under Revenue Book Circular
Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh grants financial assistance to the people suffering from natural calamities in various districts of the state through Revenue Book Circular 6-4 through District Collector. Under the district Kabirdham, financial assistance of Rs 16 lakh has been sanctioned to the victims in 4 cases.
Under the provisions of the Revenue Book Circular, Mr. Amar of village Bhuwalpur of Tehsil Pandaria in Kabirdham district died and Mr. Sameer Chandravanshi of village Mohtarakala died of drowning and Mrs. Ratna Bai of village Padi (Pahari) died due to burning Financial assistance of four lakh rupees has been sanctioned to the victims of the deceased. Similarly, financial assistance of four lakh rupees has been sanctioned to the families of the deceased victims after the death of snake bite of Mandakani of village Kharhatti of Bodla tehsil. -

The concept of “Swachh Bastar Sundar Bastar” and working in the clean environment of the office premises brings positive energy. In this spirit, the cleaning campaign was carried out in Jagdalpur Tehsil office premises under the leadership of Assistant Collector and Tehsildar Ms. Rena Jamil. . In this cleanliness drive, all the officers and employees of the Tehsil office cleaned the premises. Appreciating this initiative, Collector Shri Rajat Bansal has instructed all the subdivisional officers (revenue) to carry out a cleanliness drive of the subdivisional and tehsil office premises.

The status of Tehsil in the pass, Diwali gift from the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel to the residents
Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Shri Jai Singh Aggarwal inaugurated the newly created Tehsil Pass office in Korba district. On this occasion, he said that the status of Tehsil to Darri is a Diwali gift from the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel to the people here. Shri Aggarwal said that yesterday only the Chief Minister has inaugurated 23 new tehsils across the state and from today the functioning of these tehsils has also started. Shri Aggarwal said that the Chief Minister has given two tehsils of Darri and Hardibazar to Korba district. The Revenue Minister said that this will save both time and money of the people and more and more people will get the benefit of the schemes of the government. Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the tehsil office, Revenue Minister Mr. Aggarwal said that a proposal for the formation of 25 new tehsils was sent to the state government, out of which 23 tehsils have been formed. Shri Aggarwal said that Pasan and Barpali in Korba will also get the status of new tehsils soon. Along with this, two new sub-tehsils will also be set up in Azarbahar and Madanpur area to make the residents of Shyang-Lamru region faster. Shri Aggarwal informed that the state government has also approved building and vehicles for the newly constructed tehsils. The Revenue Minister said that Pali will soon get the gift of SDM office. All formalities for this have been completed at the administrative level and SDM office will also be started in Pali in the coming days.
The Revenue Minister said that even during the Corona period, the state government has fully operationalized its welfare programs and schemes, which have provided many facilities to the people of the state. A medical college in Korba district will also be established soon. The 25 wards facing water problem in the river crossing and the Balgi area will also get relief on the construction of the encyte on the Hasdev river. Mr. Aggarwal informed that approval has also been received for repairing all the dilapidated roads in the municipal corporation area and construction of some new roads soon. Shri Agarwal also thanked the residents of the district for their patience and cooperation in dealing with the Kovid infection. Shri Jaisingh Agrawal wished Deepawali to the citizens. He also distributed blankets to the beneficiaries to avoid the cold under the Sukhad Sahara scheme.

CM Baghel inaugurates SDM and Tehsil office with floral beautification work in Patan
The Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today laid foundation stone of Swami Atmanand Pushpavatika beautification work, Swarni Atmanand Chowk’s renovation work and after the renovation of SDM and Tehsil office and construction work of new building at Patan, Tehsil headquarters in Durg district today. The Chief Minister also unveiled the statue of Late Shri Sukhchain Lal Bhale in Patan.
