  • The Home Minister will perform Bhoomipujan and launch various works in Bemetara district on 12 February

    Home and Public Works Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu will perform Bhumi Pujan and launch various works in Bemetara district on Friday, 12 February. They will leave Raipur by car in the morning at 9 am and will attend the local program at village Kota of Berla development block at 9.30 am and village Khamharia (Saldha) at 10.30 am. They will do Bhoomipujan and inaugurate various construction works in the village Patora at 12 noon, village Silghat at one o’clock and at 3 in Berla. Minister Shri Sahu will leave Birla at 5 pm and reach Durg and will participate in the program organized at Tamarkar Dharamshala at 6 pm. They will leave the fort at 9 pm and return to Raipur.

  • Rajim Maghi Punni Fair from 27 February: Tamradhwaj Sahu reviews preparations

    The Maghi Punni Fair to be held every year in Rajim will be from 27 February to 11 March this year. Religious Trust and Religion Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu reviewed the preparations by meeting a meeting of departmental officers and officials of the Mela Committee at his Raipur residence office today. He said that in view of the Corona Guide Line of the Government of India, there will be no official program in the fair, but like the previous rains, all necessary arrangements should be made for the convenience of the devotees. He said that he had instructed collectors and Superintendents of Police of the three districts of Gariaband, Raipur and Dhamtari to ensure the safety, convenience and traffic arrangements of the pilgrims at the fair. He said that roads, toilets, electricity, water, health, sanitation etc. should be arranged for the convenience of the people like earlier rains and urged devotees coming to the fair to take precautions to avoid corona infection. Rajim Maghi Punni Mela will be held from 27 February to 11 March. During this, there will be three bathing festivals on 27 February, 6 March and 11 March.

  • Speed up road repair: Public Works Minister

    Public Works and Home Minister and in-charge of Bilaspur district, Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu reviewed the departmental work by meeting district officials at Bilaspur Collectorate today.     In the meeting, the Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat informed that under the Godan Nyaya Yojana, 1 lakh 3 thousand 431 quintal cow dung has been purchased and an amount of more than Rs 2 crore 6 lakh 86 thousand has also been paid to the cow owners. has gone. 1868 quintal vermi manure has been produced in Gothan. Information was also given regarding land leveling. In a review by the Health Department, the CMHO was instructed to provide treatment under the Mukhyamantri Haat Bazaar Scheme in the district by setting up camps in inaccessible and inaccessible villages.
