Pappu Yadav, the fiery MP from Purnea, has launched a noble scheme providing complimentary LPG refills to Bihar’s outstation students. College attendees in hostels and paying guest accommodations can now access small gas cylinders free of charge, provided they carry their college identity proof.

The announcement prioritizes girls’ welfare, ensuring safe cooking options in emergencies. Yadav has made helpline numbers public for seamless support, reflecting his commitment to educational accessibility.

‘Education forms the bedrock of a strong society. Our daughters must study fearlessly and confidently,’ Yadav remarked, aiming to foster independence among students. This move alleviates financial strains exacerbated by recent global supply chain issues from Middle Eastern tensions.

Renowned for his hands-on approach to public service, Yadav’s routine involvement in Bihar’s challenges has earned him a reputation as a people’s champion. The program encourages needy students to reach out without hesitation, prioritizing their security and dignity.

As government agencies work overtime to stabilize LPG distribution nationwide, Yadav’s localized effort stands out as a beacon of immediate relief for the academic community.

In a heartfelt address on Holi eve, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav urged citizens to immerse in the festival’s spirit while staying vigilant about security and students’ board exams. The message came during his visit to Barwani on March 2.

‘Holi brings joy and excitement, yet our children’s school exams are ongoing. Their bright futures depend on undisturbed focus—let’s celebrate responsibly,’ Yadav told reporters.

Board examinations for Classes 10 and 12, running since February 13, wrap up March 6. This timely reminder seeks to prevent any festive exuberance from impacting academic schedules.

Yadav’s day included participation in the iconic Bhagoria Mahotsav, a week-long tribal carnival in western MP districts symbolizing Holi’s arrival and spring’s bloom. Attracting global visitors, its final day featured lively dances, attire, and community bonding on Monday.

Preceding the festivities, the CM held a late-night review with top cops including DGP Makwana and ADG Manohar. The video conference covered preparations from all ranges, ensuring comprehensive policing.

‘Be hyper-vigilant. Respond instantly to mishaps, big or small. Enforce dry day strictly and tighten administrative controls,’ Yadav ordered. He warned against laxity, promising unannounced police station visits and performance-based rankings.

Special directives focused on exam venue surveillance and hostel safety. Yadav’s emphasis on transparent, responsive policing sets a tone for seamless celebrations, blending tradition with modern governance in the heartland state.

The ongoing war in the Middle East has led to a major shake-up in India’s education calendar abroad. CBSE has officially deferred Class 10 and 12 board exams set for March 2 across seven nations, citing heightened security risks.

Affected countries include Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE, where CBSE schools operate. The board’s announcement highlights the precarious environment, making it unsafe to proceed with assessments.

Looking ahead, a crucial meeting on March 3 will evaluate the feasibility of upcoming exams from March 5 onwards. New dates for the delayed tests will be communicated promptly, balancing student welfare with academic timelines.

CBSE advises against relying on unofficial sources, recommending direct contact with schools or the board’s website. This decision underscores the real-world impacts of geopolitical strife on education.

Recent escalations, marked by Israeli and US missile strikes on Tehran and other Iranian cities—including the presidential compound—have intensified regional instability. With Supreme Leader Khamenei’s reported death, the area remains on high alert.

CBSE’s proactive stance ensures no child’s education suffers unduly, as it navigates these extraordinary challenges with transparency and care.

As board exams kick off in Ranchi, the traffic police are ramping up operations with personnel hitting the streets at 8 AM sharp—a full hour ahead of the standard schedule. This move is designed to facilitate hassle-free access for examinees to their respective centers.

SSP Rakesh Ranjan’s comprehensive instructions have prompted Traffic SP Rakesh Singh to personally scout major exam locations. His inspections focused on bolstering security and optimizing traffic management around high-traffic zones.

Key directives include sufficient deployment of forces at parking facilities and entry points to exam halls. Singh highlighted that controlled traffic is crucial for timely and secure student commutes during peak hours.

Parents have been roped in with a heartfelt appeal: arrive early, use authorized parking, and avoid blocking routes. Such measures are vital to sustain orderly movement amid the exam rush.

Ranchi’s traffic overhaul reflects meticulous planning to safeguard academic schedules. By anticipating challenges, the police aim to deliver a smooth experience, allowing students to focus solely on their papers.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has vehemently denied distorting her earlier comments regarding the alleged gang rape of a medical student in Durgapur. Addressing the media, Banerjee stated that her words were taken out of context and accused some outlets of engaging in political maneuvering. She emphasized that her intent was to raise awareness about student safety, not to assign blame. “The media distorted my words. You ask me a question, I answer it, and then you distort it. Do not try this kind of politics…” the Chief Minister was quoted as saying, urging a more responsible approach to reporting sensitive incidents. The controversy arose from earlier remarks where Banerjee questioned why the student was out at 12:30 AM, suggesting colleges should implement stricter rules for female students at night. She stressed the need for both college authorities and students to prioritize personal safety, particularly in areas near natural surroundings. The incident, involving a second-year student from a private medical college, has sparked outrage and calls for swift justice.

A major revelation has emerged in the case of poisoning school meals in a government residential school in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. On Wednesday, police arrested the assistant teacher…

A major revelation has emerged in the case of poisoning school meals in a government residential school in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. On Wednesday, police arrested the assistant teacher accused of mixing phenyl in the food of 426 children. According to a police officer, the accused, Dhananjay Sahu, was arrested based on a complaint filed by the hostel superintendent, Dujal Patel. The arrested Dhananjay is an assistant teacher at the government residential Porta Cabin School for students in the village of Pakela in the district.

Police reported that a complaint was filed against him on Tuesday. The complaint alleged that assistant teacher Dhananjay Sahu, due to personal differences with hostel superintendent Patel, mixed phenyl in the vegetable cooked for the school students’ dinner on August 21st.

Afterwards, when a Porta Cabin employee noticed a foul smell in the food and saw empty phenyl bottles nearby, he was shocked. He immediately informed hostel superintendent Patel about this. Subsequently, the food was quickly and safely disposed of. The officer mentioned that Patel informed the senior officials about the entire incident, after which the Sukma District Magistrate ordered an investigation into the matter.

In fact, a dispute had been going on between teacher Dhananjay Sahu and hostel superintendent Dujal Patel for the past year. Initially, the accused teacher Dhananjay Sahu was the superintendent of this hostel. During this time, he had beaten a student. The student sustained serious injuries. After this, Dhananjay Sahu was removed from the post of superintendent. After which Patel was given this responsibility. That’s when he started getting annoyed with him. He committed the act due to this animosity.

Officials stated that Sahu’s role came to light in the investigation. They said that based on the investigation report, Patel lodged a complaint at the Chhindgarh police station, after which Dhananjay Sahu was arrested. The officials said that during interrogation, Sahu confessed to his crime. He told the police that he committed this crime due to some personal animosity with hostel superintendent Patel.

Police reported that Sahu is a resident of Patora village in Durg district of the state. A case has been registered against him under Section 109 (attempt to murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). He was presented in court and then sent to judicial remand. Currently, the police are investigating all aspects of this case.

Pakistani students studying in the United States are expressing growing anxieties due to heightened scrutiny of their social media activity and other minor infractions. The Trump administration’s policies have led to increased concerns that even seemingly small mistakes could result in visa revocation. This has created an atmosphere of uncertainty for students navigating the complexities of US immigration regulations.

The US government is now conducting a thorough examination of social media posts. Any content deemed critical of the US, its government, culture, or institutions could jeopardize a student’s visa status. Furthermore, incomplete documentation or violations of rules and regulations can also lead to complications. Recent reports indicate that even minor offenses such as traffic violations or participation in campus protests are being reported to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Students are reportedly receiving warnings to avoid travel due to the potential risks associated with minor errors. The situation has created significant apprehension among students. Some students are worried about potential deportation for their participation in pro-Palestine demonstrations. The situation has led to additional stress for students, with some finding it more difficult to secure part-time employment to help with their studies. The Pakistani embassy in Washington is monitoring the situation and advising students to exercise caution in political activities, particularly regarding protests and social media posts. With a large Pakistani community in the US, the new regulations are creating a climate of fear and insecurity for students, leading to cautiousness in their daily lives.
