Concern has increased again about the new strain of Corona. In view of this, Raipur Collector has issued a new order. The administration will identify people from abroad after January 15.
The list includes UK, Brazil, South Africa. The order issued by the collector states that people from Maharashtra will be traced. In the district again, contact tracing will be emphasized. Along with this, orders have also been given to take samples in crowded area.
Bijapur district of Bastar division became infected again. 2 new patients have been found in the district. There was not a single corona patient in the district since 17 February. According to the health department, 4118 patients have been confirmed in Bijapur so far. While 4088 people have recovered in the district so far, 28 have died.
Today, after the confirmation of 274 newly infected patients, the total number of infected people has increased to 3 lakh 11 thousand 433. At the same time, 3 lakh 4 thousand 647 patients have become healthy. After receiving and discharging new patients, the number of active patients has now risen to 2977.

An Anglo-Indian woman, who had returned from the United Kingdom to Delhi and later reached Andhra Pradesh by a special train after escaping from an isolation centre in Delhi, has tested positive for the new UK strain of Coronavirus, said Katamneni Bhasker, Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare Department of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday. Speaking further, Bhasker said that there is no evidence of the spread of the new UK strain in the state.
According to the official data, Andhra Pradesh administration so far has traced 1,406 people out of 1,423 who came from the UK to the state. The Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare Department said that a total of 12 people were tested positive out of 1,406 people who underwent RTPCR test. It also mentioned that 6,364 primary contracts of 1,406 were tested and 12 were positive.
