  • Grammy winner American singer Tori Kelly hospitalised after collapsing at dinner

    By ANI

LOS ANGELES: Grammy-Winning American singer Tori Kelly is in the hospital receiving treatment for blood clots around her essential organs, a source confirmed TMZ adding that the condition was really serious.

According to sources close to the Grammy-winning artist, she was out to dinner with friends in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night when her heart began to race. Tori reportedly passed out and was out for a while.

According to TMZ, Tori’s pals wanted to make sure she wasn’t sent to a hospital downtown, but rather to Cedars-Sinai, one of the country’s top hospitals, so they took her outside, loaded her into a vehicle, and rushed to the hospital instead of calling an ambulance.

Doctors detected clots in Tori’s legs and lungs and are still attempting to identify if any clots are near her heart, according to a source in the ICU. Throughout her hospitalisation, the singer has been in and out of consciousness.

Recently, Kelly released her first new solo single, ‘Missin u.’

Kelly rose to prominence as a kid on several TV competition shows before breaking into the industry with her acoustic renditions on YouTube and a stint on ‘American Idol’ in 2010. She came just shy of the Top 24 on Idol, but she quickly established a successful pop career, releasing her debut album ‘Unbreakable Smile’ in 2015.

She had successes with ‘Nobody Love’ and ‘Should’ve Been Us’ and was nominated for two Grammys in 2019.

  • Shakira’s new album will have ‘tell-all’ anthems about split with Gerard Pique

    By IANS

LOS ANGELES: Shakira’s ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique may want to cover his ears in the coming months as the pop sensation is set to hang their laundry out to dry all over the charts.

The 46-year-old Colombian singer was in a romance with 36-year-old Spanish football ace Gerard for 11 years from 2011 until 2022 and together they share sons Milan, 10, and Sasha, eight, reports ‘Mirror.co.uk’.

The breakup has been one of the most dramatic in recent showbiz years — with allegations of cheating, jam jar clues, and a diss track already racking up hundreds of millions of hits.

According to Mirror.co.uk, more ear-bashing tunes are in store for Gerard, as Shaky is said to be preparing to unleash hell — and all the details of the collapse of their relationship — in her upcoming album.

A music insider told The Sun: “Her next album is definitely going to be a tell-all record and she won’t be shy about letting everyone know what happened.

“She was working on another record before she had suspicions about infidelity, so those songs are being re-written with new endings to give fans a fuller picture of the truth.

“Those who’ve heard snippets say it blends Latin, rock, and hip hop and is more empowering than angry.”

Shakira has also been hitting out at her ex as he appears to have swiftly moved on from their break up — by dating a look-alike model.

  • Pop icon Britney Spears lays bare details of her abuse in new audio message

    By IANS

LOS ANGELES: Pop icon Britney Spears recently shared a new audio message on YouTube on Sunday evening (Pacific Standard Time) to give an in-depth look at her side of conservatorship in a 22-minute video that makes bombshell claims against her family, reports Variety.

The video only has sound, but no picture, and does not show the singer’s face talking on-camera. The video, which was quickly made private and no longer available for the public to see, was initially posted onto YouTube with a link shared on the pop star’s Twitter account.

According to Variety, Spears’ Instagram was recently deactivated, and over the past few days, she has been posting more regularly on her Twitter.

“I woke up this morning and I realised there’s a lot going on in my head that I haven’t shared with anyone,” Spears said in the video, quoted by Variety.

In the audio message, Spears said she has been offered other interview opportunities from the likes of Oprah and others, but decided it is best to share her story herself. “I’ve had tons of opportunities…but I’m here to open myself to others and shed a light on it,” Spears said. “I get nothing out of sharing this…I have offers (for) lots and lots of money…to me, it’s beyond a sit-down, proper interview.”

Variety further states that the star explained that she’s been too scared of judgement to share her side of the story candidly, but now believes it’s crucial to share her thoughts, in hopes of helping others. She then chronologically timelines the conservatorship from her point of view.

“Honestly to this day, I don’t really know what I did,” she said. “But the punishment of my father, I wasn’t able to see anyone or say anything…none of it made sense to me,” Spears added.

She was referencing her father, Jamie Spears, who was her conservator for the majority of the 13-year court-ordered arrangement. He was suspended from her conservatorship in September 2021, and roughly one month later, the conservatorship was ultimately terminated.

Spears explained that the beginning of the conservatorship was very confusing to her, but claims that both her mother and father were involved in the creation of the conservatorship, and believes it was all “premeditated”.

She alleged that “a woman introduced the idea to my dad, and my mom actually helped him follow through and made it all happen.” Recalling the night it all started, she said that all of a sudden, “there were over 200 paparazzi outside my house videotaping me through a window of an ambulance holding me down on a gurney.”

“It was all basically set up. There were no drugs in my system. No alcohol. No nothing. It was pure abuse,” Spears said. “And I haven’t even really shared even half of it.” Spears said that she clearly remembers “my dad’s control”. She said: “He loved to control everything I did.”

  • Mandy Moore to have unmedicated delivery of second child due to rare blood condition

    By ANI

WASHINGTON: American singer-actor Mandy Moore recently shared that, this fall, she will be having an unmedicated delivery of her second child due to a rare blood condition.

According to Fox News, Moore opened up about going without an epidural during birth due to her diagnosis of an autoimmune disorder called immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP).

“My platelets are too low for an epidural. It was awful. But I can do it one more time. I can climb that mountain again,” Moore shared in an interview with ‘Today Parents’.

She continued, “I wish medication was an option — just the idea of it being on the table is so nice. But we’ll just push forth like we did last time.”

Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, already share their 17-month-old son August, who she delivered unmedicated.

The singer also shared that her lack of sleep and busy schedule worried her regarding her unborn son’s health. This is why she decided to end her ‘In Real Life’ tour early. “I was scared I was going to adversely affect my [unborn] baby and his growth,” she said as per Fox News.

Moore took to Instagram last month and said that being on tour while pregnant was “too challenging.”

“Friends, It is with a heavy heart and much consideration that I have to let you all know that I am cancelling my remaining show dates in 2022,” Moore wrote.

She added, “It has been an honour and an absolute dream to return to the stage again this past month, performing for all of you. When we booked these shows, I wasn’t pregnant and although I truly thought I could power through, the way we are travelling (long hours on the bus and not getting proper rest) has caught up, taken its toll, and made it feel too challenging to proceed.”

He told the Metro newspaper’s Guilty Pleasures column: “If I’ve got really stuff going on, it’s not like I can write a song that day and it’s going to help me. The love of music has always been there and, as soon as I stay away from my guitar or the singing for too long, it claws me back.”It’s never gone but sometimes it’s turned down.
