The initial impact claimed the lives of three people instantly. A joint effort involving a police team, local villagers, and SSB personnel led to the evacuation of two injured women from the affected region. Despite the swift evacuation and immediate medical attention at the District Hospital, one of the women succumbed to her injuries. The other remains in critical condition. Authorities are still searching for the three missing persons.

The victim, a Class 7 student, reported the abuse to the police, leading to the arrest of all three accused. The principal of the school filed a complaint with the Gyalshing police on July 14th. In a separate incident, a fire erupted in a residential building in Hyderabad, leading to the rescue of five individuals.
