  • PVC vaccination program to protect children from pneumonia started from Hiramadala

    The Pneumococcal Conjugate (PCV) vaccination program was launched on Tuesday by Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr TR Kunwar on the instructions of Collector Pushendra Kumar Meena by the Health and Family Welfare Department in the district as per the instructions of the State Government. Children from 0 to 01 years are to be vaccinated by this PCV vaccine. This vaccine is included in the routine immunization program of children by the Department of Health. This vaccine will be administered to children from 0 to 01 years in three phases. Whose first vaccine is to be administered after completion of 06 weeks, second vaccine after completion of 14 weeks and last third booster vaccine in 09 months.
    Be aware that by applying this PVC vaccine, pneumonia can be prevented. So far 6521 pneumonia cases have been found in the district of serious illness like pneumonia. Out of which 692 children have been found in critical condition. This vaccine program has been started to vaccinate all children in the age group of 0 to 01 years from 15th June in all the health institutions of the district like District Hospital, Community Health Center, Primary Health Center, Sub Health Center, Anganwadi Center and Pneumococcal Conjugate (PVC) vaccine. has gone. On the occasion of the launch of the vaccination program, District Program Manager Sonal Dhruv, District Immunization Officer Dr Rudra Kashyap, Block Medical Officer Dr Suraj Singh Rathore, Block Program Manager, Block Extension and Training Officer, Public Representatives, Sarpach Mahadev Kashyap and other villagers and health department officials. Officers were present.
    In this regard, the Chief Medical and Health Officer has appealed to the general public to take their children to the regular vaccination session site and get the Pneumococcal Conjugate (PVC) vaccine necessary to prevent serious diseases like pneumonia.

  • Collector inaugurated cleanliness barrier in Kotebira
