  • Dharsa development scheme will start soon in the state-Shri Bhupesh Baghel

    Bhupesh Baghel has said that Dharsa Vikas Yojana will soon be started in the state for convenient access to the farmers to their fields. He said that a new avenue of income was opened for the farmers by linking the Chief Minister’s Tree Plantation Scheme with the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. In a virtual program organized at his residence office in the capital Raipur on Wednesday, the Chief Minister inaugurated 1430 works costing about Rs 565 crore in Balodabazar-Bhatapara and Mahasamund districts and performed Bhoomi Pujan.
    The Chief Minister said that even though the construction work was affected a little at the time of lockdown, but more important work than that, we continued with full force. Through various schemes of the state government, work was done with full force to save the poor, farmers, laborers and villagers from hunger, unemployment and worry about the future. Last year also during the lockdown, arrangements were made for free rice to the poor. This year, arrangements for free rice for the months of May and June have already been made, now rice for five months will be given free of cost from July to November. Additional rice will also be distributed to all ration card holders equivalent to Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. The Chief Minister said that the development works which were affected by the first and second wave of Corona will now be completed with full speed. It has started after the corona wave weakened.
    The Chief Minister said that despite the adverse circumstances of the Corona period, the State Government is working in the interest of all sections including the poor, farmers, laborers and tribals. Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana worked to remove the despair of the farmers. The installments of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana continued to reach the accounts of the farmers whenever they needed them in the agricultural works. Last year, an amount of Rs 5628 crore was sent directly to the accounts of 19 lakh farmers in four installments under this scheme. Now expanding the scope of this scheme, along with paddy and sugarcane, tur, maize, kodo, kutki, soybean, pulses and oilseeds have also been included.
    Mr. Baghel said that Godhan Nyay Yojana has given great support to the farmers and livestock farmers in the time of Corona crisis. So far, more than Rs 95 crore has been paid to the dung vendors against the purchase of cow dung. During the last lockdown, Chhattisgarh has been the top state in the country in providing employment in MNREGA works. This year also, in MNREGA, 25 percent of the target of the year has been completed in two months.

  • Chief Minister constitutes three-member team for testing under Jal Jeevan Mission

    The Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has taken seriously the various complaints received regarding the work allocation process under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Mr. Baghel has constituted a three-member team of Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Finance and Secretary Public Health Engineering Department to investigate these complaints. It is known that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, a target has been set to supply drinking water through pipelines to rural households by the year 2024. At present, the process of allocation of works of about 7 thousand crore rupees in water life mission is in progress.

  • For the smooth supply of sand, the Department of Minerals approved 107 sand storage permits this year

    Due to the efforts of the state government, the supply of sand in the state is getting smooth. Sand prices have reached pre-rainy levels in most districts. In order to ensure smooth supply of sand under the direction of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, a special effort has been approved by the Mineral Department this year in total 107 sand storage permits in the state. Besides, taking strict action against illegal excavators of sand in various districts of the state, cases were registered against them and fine amount was recovered. According to information received from the Department of Minerals, 37 crore cases of illegal mining, one thousand 726 cases of illegal transport and 26 cases of illegal storage have been registered and Rs 2 crore 7 lakh 49 thousand 89 rupees have been recovered from the concerned people. .
        It is noteworthy that at present, a tender has been floated in 319 sand mines in the state. After receiving the consent of the environment in 210 sand mines, these mines are being operated after the contract and in the remaining sand mines, the process of obtaining environment consent is under process. At present, tender has been issued for allotment of sand mines in all districts of the state. Currently, according to the guideline issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, sand mining was banned in the rainforest from June 10 to October 15 for the state of Chhattisgarh. The average price of sand in the eastern region of Varsha Rutu was 5000-7000 rupees per highwa (10 cubic meters). The value of sand increases in the state every year during rains, During this year, a total effort of 107 sand storage permits was approved in the state by the Mineral Department with special efforts for smooth supply of sand. Since the storage license area has seen a partial increase in sand prices due to limited storage capacity. After the rainy season, many sand mines in most of the districts are currently flooded and repair work of ramp and access road is also being done in many sand mines. In these sand mines, the work of loading and transport will start in the coming days, which is expected to reduce the price further.

  • More than 42 lakh families in rural areas will get free tap connection

    The target is to complete door-to-door tap connections to 42 lakh 54 thousand families residing in forest areas, scheduled caste dominated villages and rural areas of the state in the next three years. Free water connections will be provided to these families under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar informed that under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, an action plan has been chalked out by the Public Health Engineering Department to complete this task at a rapid pace. He informed that as per the work plan for supply of pure drinking water in rural areas, the tenderers are being given work on the basis of administrative approval.
        Minister Guru Rudrakumar informed that tenders have been given for the construction of high-level water works, pipe line extension, civil work, domestic connections, chlorinator and power pump installation at a cost of Rs 9485.60 crore for drinking water facility in rural areas. He informed that after approval of the cabinet for the first time in the state, the rates were justified after obtaining rates through interest of interest for the tenderers. He informed that a target has been set to provide drinking water to rural families of the state through domestic tap connection by September 2023. The list of 1326 Implemented tenderers who have contracted rate contracts for the works of the Water Life Mission in the second phase has been released by the department, these tenderers will soon be given works worth Rs 7080 crore on the basis of administrative approval.
