Seven years on, the scars of the Pulwama attack remain raw, a grim reminder of the 40 CRPF jawans who perished in one of India’s darkest hours. From Delhi to the streets of Jammu and Kashmir, tributes pour in as leaders across the spectrum honor the ultimate sacrifice.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi set the tone early morning with an emotional post on X. Remembering the February 14, 2019, tragedy, he praised the soldiers’ ‘loyalty, resolve, and selfless service’ that endures in national memory. Their bravery, he noted, empowers every citizen.

The suicide bombing by a Jaish-e-Mohammed operative on a convoy in Pulwama district not only shattered families but galvanized India’s anti-terror stance, leading to precision strikes on terror camps.

Key BJP figures amplified the message. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Agriculture Minister, called the martyrdom a call to arms: united against terror with zero tolerance, India vows total elimination.

Ramdas Athawale labeled it a ‘cowardly assault,’ saluting the heroes whose valor signals unbreakable Indian might.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath reinforced this, viewing the sacrifice as an eternal motivator to crush terrorism at its roots.

In a rare show of unity, opposition voices rose too. Mallikarjun Kharge of Congress bowed to the ‘valiant soldiers,’ their ‘unyielding courage and devotion’ immortalized forever.

Veteran leader Sharad Pawar highlighted the military’s storied tradition of bravery that protects the motherland. ‘Deepest respects to Pulwama’s fallen guardians,’ he wrote.

Beyond social media, memorials and prayers echo nationwide. Schools, offices, and homes observe silence, reflecting on lessons learned. The 2019 attack reshaped security protocols, boosting intelligence and border vigilance.

Today’s remembrances reaffirm India’s steel resolve. Political rivalries fade before national pride, as all vow to honor the jawans by building a terror-free future. Their blood waters the soil of determination, ensuring no sacrifice goes in vain.

In a bombshell revelation from Nagpur, senior Congress figure Nana Patole accused the BJP of dedicating its strategy sessions to undermining Rahul Gandhi. The outspoken leader claimed these meetings plot ways to implicate the Congress stalwart, responding to Nishikant Dubey’s call to revoke Gandhi’s Lok Sabha membership.

Patole portrayed this as a premeditated agenda to overshadow critical national discourse. ‘Real problems take a backseat while they scheme against Rahul Gandhi,’ he told reporters. Yet, he remained unfazed, invoking the Gandhi legacy of martyrdom that safeguards Rahul from political sabotage.

The Congress veteran lambasted BJP leaders praising PM Modi’s farmer leadership. Dismissing Piyush Goyal as an out-of-touch tycoon who betrayed farmers, Patole said, ‘He speaks from ignorance, protecting business empires over rural heartlands.’ Shivraj Singh Chouhan fared no better, accused of prioritizing job security over genuine advocacy.

Addressing controversies around ‘Vande Mataram’ and Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, Patole emphasized Muslim loyalty to India. He criticized BJP for fueling communal tensions to mask governance failures, noting the group’s apparent BJP sympathies as the root of provocative statements.

‘Vande Mataram’ holds a sacred place as our national song, Patole declared, urging against politicization. He found fault with official protocols sequencing it before the anthem, viewing it as an avoidable escalation in cultural debates.

Patole’s candid outburst underscores deepening partisan divides, with Congress gearing up to counter BJP’s narrative dominance.
