Minister of State Savitri Thakur called safety a core right, citing 2023-24 data: 41.7% women in labor force, 70% Mudra loans to women, 44% PM SVANidhi women beneficiaries, and 10 crore women empowered via 90 lakh SHGs. ‘Progress is evident, but our aim is universal safety and empowerment,’ she said.
