In the meeting, the Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat informed that under the Godan Nyaya Yojana, 1 lakh 3 thousand 431 quintal cow dung has been purchased and an amount of more than Rs 2 crore 6 lakh 86 thousand has also been paid to the cow owners. has gone. 1868 quintal vermi manure has been produced in Gothan. Out of which 1 thousand 77 quintal vermi fertilizer has been sold. 3 thousand 319 vermi tanks have been sanctioned in Gothan, out of which 3 thousand 102 vermi tanks have been completed. Women from self-help groups are doing fisheries economic growth
Durga, a 20-member mother of village Asana of the block block Jagdalpur, is making economic progress through women’s self-help group fisheries. In the past, members of the group used to collect forest produce in addition to cultivation, and used to earn the income from it in the domestic work.

The members of the group are getting a good income by increasing the production by increasing fish production, due to which the members have purchased their domestic use items and a permanent house has been built.
The Department of Fisheries has provided fish seed, supplementary food, ice box, sifex, musket equipment as subsidy to fishermen under departmental schemes and National Agricultural Development Scheme and fishermen accident insurance is provided to all the members of the group. Government increases the price of cow dung fertilizer, women self-help groups will benefit
The Chhattisgarh government has increased the minimum selling rate of vermi compost produced in Gothanas from Rs 8 per kg to a minimum of Rs 10 per kg. This will benefit women self-help groups engaged in Gothan management. On the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the Commissioner of Agricultural Production has issued an order in this regard.
Under the Suraji village scheme of the Chhattisgarh government, cow dung is being purchased in 4,487 of the 6,430 Gothans in the state.
So far, 44 thousand stitches have been manufactured at Gothano to make vermi compost from purchased cow dung. Now 16 thousand stitches are being made. So far, 8000 quintal vermi compost has been produced in the state. 1000 quintal vermi compost has been sold in it.
Thousands of women self-help groups of the state are working to prepare vermicompost from cow dung in Gothan. The increase in the minimum sale rate of vermi compost will increase their income. Under this scheme, the government is also planning to set up a laboratory for testing the quality of vermi compost in every district of the state. Collector Mr. Singh said that in each of the Gothanas, such planning should be done that the cow dung up to one month ago should be put in the Vermi Pit. If vermis pits are falling short, then make proposals to prepare more and also prepare vermi compost in the waterproof kit provided by the Department of Agriculture, he instructed to provide compost from the gothan as per the requirement of local farmers when vermi compost is available.
