An explosion occurred within a school classroom in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan, resulting in injuries to at least four children. The incident took place on Friday in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber district, which borders Afghanistan. Following the blast, security forces arrived at the scene and established a security perimeter. The injured children received immediate medical attention at a nearby hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the explosion.

‘Toy bombs,’ which are unexploded mortar shells from past conflicts near the Afghan border, are sometimes mistaken for toys by children. Tragically, a fourth-grade student brought an unexploded mortar shell into his classroom, where it detonated, causing injuries. This incident highlights the ongoing danger posed by unexploded ordnance in the region.

This event adds to a series of bomb blasts in Pakistan, including a similar tragedy in Bajaur district last December where children were killed, and a car bomb explosion in Quetta, Balochistan. Security forces have secured the area and are conducting a search to remove any additional unexploded devices. The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.

A distressing incident of child abuse has come to light in Panipat, Haryana, where a seven-year-old boy was subjected to a cruel punishment for failing to complete his homework. Disturbing videos from a school on Jattal Road have surfaced on social media, showcasing the principal and staff members’ violent actions towards young students. One video depicts the school driver, Ajay, suspending the Class 2 student upside down and thrashing him. Another video shows Principal Reena repeatedly slapping the children. The child’s mother stated that her son had recently been enrolled in the school and alleged that the principal instructed the driver to administer the punishment. The principal claimed she had informed the parents before disciplining the student, who she said had misbehaved. She admitted to summoning Ajay to scold the boy on August 13. The driver was reportedly dismissed that same month. However, the family claims the driver sent individuals to their home to intimidate them following the video’s release. The Model Town Police have registered a case under the Juvenile Justice Act (2015), with investigations underway, and the principal and driver face imminent arrest.

A video showcasing widespread cheating during an internal examination at a higher secondary school in Tilauthu, Rohtas district, Bihar, has caused a stir. The footage, which purportedly captures the examination environment, reveals students openly copying answers. Instead of being in exam halls, students are seen writing their exams in the school’s open grounds, verandas, and even under trees. The video shows groups of students huddled together, copying from each other, while others are seen sitting on the ground. No invigilators or adherence to examination rules are apparent in the video. The incident has raised serious questions about the integrity of the examination process. The education department has initiated an investigation into the matter, with the district education officer stating that appropriate action will be taken against those found responsible.

In a disturbing incident, a Class 9 student at a government residential school in the Shahapur taluk of Karnataka’s Yadgir district gave birth to a baby in the school toilet.…

In a disturbing incident, a Class 9 student at a government residential school in the Shahapur taluk of Karnataka’s Yadgir district gave birth to a baby in the school toilet. The incident occurred on August 27th. According to police reports, the girl was experiencing full-term pregnancy due to sexual assault that occurred approximately nine months prior. Classmates, noticing the girl was in labor, alerted school administrators. Initially, the student was hesitant to disclose details or identify the perpetrator due to stress. Both the student and the baby were admitted to a hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. Police have identified a 28-year-old man as the accused and registered a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act case based on a complaint filed by the District Child Protection Officer. Cases have also been filed against the hostel warden, school principal, staff nurse, and the victim’s brother for failing to report the pregnancy to authorities. The Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Association (KREIS) has suspended four school employees due to dereliction of duty and negligence. Authorities have stated that the investigation is ongoing and that appropriate action will be taken following a medical report and determination of responsibility. Measures to prevent future incidents, including increased monitoring and investigation of parental concealment and child marriage, are planned. A Child Rights Commission member emphasized the need for officials to have paid closer attention to the student’s physical changes and to ensure regular medical check-ups in residential schools.

A headmaster at the Parsabhatha Primary School in the Korba district of Chhattisgarh was found drunk at school, resting on a chair. Some villagers who went to the school made a video of the headmaster. The shocking thing is that the person entrusted with the future of the school’s students does not even know the names of the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and the District Collector. The headmaster’s video is going viral on social media.

**The Whole Incident**

The headmaster posted at Parsabhatha Primary School is Chandrapal Paikra. The incident happened last Thursday. Headmaster Chandrapal Paikra reached the school drunk and fell asleep. In the afternoon, when the villagers arrived to pick up their children from school, they saw that the headmaster was sleeping soundly without any worry.

The villagers then made a video of the sleeping headmaster. When the headmaster woke up, he saw the villagers around him. When the villagers asked the headmaster what the full name of the Prime Minister was, he said Modi and said, “Don’t bother me.” Also, when asked who the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh was, he said Raman Singh. Along with this, the headmaster could not answer the spelling of Beautiful. In the viral video, the headmaster says that he came here because the school is close to his home.

**46 Students, Only 2 Teachers**

There are 46 students studying at Parsabhatha Primary School. There are only 2 teachers posted here. On Thursday, teacher Dev Prasad Barman was teaching the children in the class, while the children of the second class were having fun. The villagers allege that the teacher has come to school drunk many times before. A complaint has been made to the education department, but no strict action has been taken so far. This is directly affecting the studies of the children and their future.

In Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, a headmaster of a primary school has been suspended following allegations of inappropriate behavior with female students. The headmaster is accused of showing obscene photos to the students and engaging in inappropriate physical conduct. The incident came to light after the students refused to attend school and informed their parents. A meeting of the parents committee was held on August 6th to address the issue, followed by a written complaint submitted to the Block Education Officer (BEO) on August 7th. A probe was initiated by the cluster coordinator, and a report was submitted to the District Education Officer (DEO). Subsequently, the headmaster, along with an assistant teacher, was suspended. The headmaster, Netram Verma, and the assistant teacher, Prasad Tiwari, have both been suspended. The police have also been notified to register a case. The DEO’s order stated that the headmaster called some students to his office, showed them obscene photos on his phone, inappropriately touched them, and engaged in obscene acts, constituting misconduct. He has been attached to the BEO Dongargarh. The assistant teacher, Deesam Pramod Tiwari, was suspended for concealing the incidents that had been occurring for several years. The DEO, Prawas Singh Baghel, confirmed that an investigation was launched after receiving complaints from villagers, leading to the suspension of the headmaster and assistant teacher and the referral to the police for filing an FIR. The primary school has 70 students and only two teachers, both of whom are now suspended.
