In 2018-19, the Delhi government approved projects worth ₹5,590 crore for the construction of 24 hospitals. The initial timeline was set for completion of these hospitals within 6 months, however, work remained unfinished even after 3 years. Several projects are now facing allegations of serious irregularities.

This is not the first instance of ASHA workers demanding bribes for birth certificates. Similar cases have been reported previously in Bihar, including one in Chakmathura village, Dhaureya block, Banka district, where ASHA workers were accused of collecting hefty sums for the same purpose.

Andy Byron is the CEO of Astronomer, an artificial intelligence solutions company valued at over $1 billion. Byron’s estimated net worth is approximately $60 million, suggesting a potential payout of over $30 million to Megan if a divorce occurs. The company has announced an internal investigation, with reports indicating that Byron’s resignation is imminent.

The university, known for its controversies, is once again under scrutiny, this time for the widespread issue of forged marksheets. Allegations suggest that fake documents are being sold to students for a price. The issue came to light when a student from a college affiliated with the university exposed the scam, and since then, numerous complaints have surfaced.

Earlier, a major fraud was uncovered where the examination department staff were reportedly selling fake marksheets and admit cards. Approximately two to three dozen students were affected, with fees ranging from four thousand to twenty thousand rupees.

Meanwhile, students with fake marksheets are left in a state of uncertainty, seeking help from the Vice-Chancellor and local MLAs, but without any resolution.

MLA Ajit Sharma of Bhagalpur has requested the education department and Raj Bhavan to form a high-level committee to investigate the matter and take action against the responsible individuals. He has also written letters to Raj Bhavan and the Education Minister.
