  • Conditional permission to play Dhumal / Grass Band and Band Party

    Collector and District Magistrate, Shri Saurabh Kumar, under the order of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and the guidelines issued in paragraph 4 of the order dated 11 June 2021 of his office, allowed to play Dhumal / Grass Band and Band Party during social programs under Raipur district. Conditional permission granted.

    Under this, the total number of people playing Dhumal / Brass Band and Band Party will not be more than 10 people. In Dhumal / Brass Band and Band Party, only band will be allowed to play. Sound box whose PMPO Only those not exceeding 200 watts will be allowed to play. Dhumal/brass band and band party will not be played on any public road. The maximum time allowed to play at the designated venue of the program will be valid up to 10.00 PM only. In the area where Dhumal / Brass Band and Band Party is to be played, prior information will have to be given to the station in-charge of that area.

    While playing Dhumal / Brass Band and Band Party, all the people involved in it will have to follow all the instructions issued by the Government of India / State Government for the control and prevention of corona virus.

    Thermal screening of all the people participating in Dhumal/Brass band and band party players, wearing of masks, using hand sanitizers from time to time, physical distancing and social distancing means that there should be at least two meters/s between persons. It will be mandatory to keep a distance of 06 feet. While playing Dhumal/Brass Band and Band Party, NGT. And the standards set by the government for noise pollution control, the guidelines of the Noise Act, Government of India and the Hon’ble Supreme Court will have to be compulsorily followed.

    If the above conditions are found to be violated, then the entire responsibility will be of the manager of Dhumal/Bass Band and Band Party and strict action will be taken as per section 188 of Indian Penal Code 1860 and other relevant law.

  • Government’s public welfare schemes will be the first priority: Saurabh Kumar

    Saurabh Kumar took over as the Collector of Raipur on Monday. Former Collector Dr. Bharathidasan took charge in the Collectorate. After assuming office, Saurabh Kumar said that his first priority would be to take the welfare schemes of the government to the people. After this he discussed with the key officers of the district administration.

    Saurabh Kumar told the officers that the public welfare schemes of the government have to be done on priority. He expected the officers to continue working with team spirit and coordination. Significantly, Saurabh Kumar is a 2009 batch Indian Administrative Service officer. Prior to this, he was serving as a commissioner in the Municipal Corporation, Raipur.

    He said that as the District Collector, he would still have the cooperation of all the officers and employees of the Raipur Municipal Corporation. He said that all the corporation officers and employees have to fully protect themselves, their own family’s health from possible third wave of corona virus.

    Along with this, the health of the citizens of Raipur also has to be worried. According to the instructions of the administration, the rules of the corona protocol have to be followed and made by the people themselves, so that the effect of the third wave is minimal on the people and maximum people can get health security.
