  • Sam Asghari lashes out at documentary on Britney Spears’s troubled life

    By IANS

LOS ANGELES: Sam Asghari, husband of Britney Spears, has lashed out at the “disgusting” television special centred around his wife.

‘TMZ Investigates: Britney Spears: The Price Of Freedom’ will release “details about her deeply troubled marriage, family estrangement, alarming behaviour, failed intervention and how she continues to be an enduring force in the music industry”, reports Mirror.co.uk.

However, fitness trainer, Sam took offence to the upcoming special, as he explained in a clip shared to Instagram Stories as he wrote: “I found it absolutely disgusting for the people who were in her life when she didn’t have a voice, they went and told her story like it was theirs.”

Mirror.co.uk further states that the part-time actor also went on to reflect on the Circus songstress’ treatment while she was under conservatorship, which ended in November 2021 after thirteen years. During those years, her father, Jamie Spears, had free reign to take control of her personal and financial affairs.

“How are you going to take the most influential person of her generation, the Princess of Pop, America’s sweetheart, and put her in prison where her father (Jamie) tells her what to do, what water to drink, who to see and use her as a money-making machine?” the 29-year-old asked his social media followers.

  • Britney Spears gets restraining order against ex-husband Jason Allen Alexander

    By ANI

LOS ANGELES: Britney Spears and Sam Asghari were granted a restraining order against the former’s ex-husband Jason Alexander after he attempted to crash the newlyweds’ wedding Thursday, Page Six has learned.

According to Page six, Britney spears attorney Mathew Rossengart in a statement has confirmed the news. “Fortunately, Alexander is incarcerated and under an emergency protective order”, Rossengart stated, as per Page Six.

Jason Allen Alexander on Thursday breached the security at Spears and Asghari’s intimate wedding ceremony at Britney’s residence in Thousand Oaks, California. Alexander told the security officials that Britney’s new husband, Sam Asghari has invited him to the Wedding function, and at that time Alexander was doing a live session on his Instagram account.

Security officials said that Alexander was armed with a knife at the wedding function and tried to surpass the security personnel. “Jason Alexander has been handcuffed, taken into custody, and arrested. I express my thanks to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for their prompt response and good work,” Rossengart in a statement said as per page six.

Jason Allen Alexander and Britney Spears were childhood friends and got married in 2004 for 55 hours after that the marriage was called off.

Birtney met Sam Asghari in 2016 on the set of the song ‘Slumber Party’, where Britney found Sam ‘cute’ and ended up calling him, and then they started dating each other. The couple announced their engagement in September 2021, when they were expecting their first baby. But singer suffered a miscarriage after being pregnant for 6 months in May 2022.

The couple is now finally married and shared their beautiful wedding pictures on their respective social media accounts. Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s official statement on the ongoing Jason Allen Alexander controversy is still awaited.

  • Britney Spears says she’s lost baby due to miscarriage

    By Associated Press

LOS ANGELES: Britney Spears says she has lost a baby early in her pregnancy. Spears announced the loss on Instagram Saturday in a joint post with her partner, Sam Asghari. The pop superstar, who gained her freedom from a court conservatorship that controlled her life for more than a decade, said in April that she was expecting a child with Asghari.

“It is with deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a devastating time for any parent,” the post said. “Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news.”

“Our love for each other is our strength,” the post said. “We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family.”

The 40-year-old Spears has said she longed for a baby with the 28-year-old Asghari, a personal trainer, but also said the nearly 14-year-long conservatorship that ended last year forced her to remain on birth control.

The two met on the set of her “Slumber Party” video in 2016. Spears has two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

  • ‘It’s growing’: Singer Britney Spears announces her pregnancy with fiance Sam Asghari

    By ANI

WASHINGTON: Singer Britney Spears is expecting a child with fiance Sam Asghari. On Tuesday, Britney took to Instagram and shared the good news with her fans and followers. ” So I got a pregnancy test … and uhhhhh well … I am having a baby,” she wrote.

However, Britney confused fans as she mentioned in her caption that she was ‘a little food pregnant’ and had taken a pregnancy test after noticing that she had gained weight while on vacation.

“I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back… I thought ‘Geez … what happened to my stomach ???’ My husband said ‘No you’re food pregnant silly,” she quipped. She also informed that she “won’t be going out as much” so the paparazzi cannot take photos of her for money.

“It’s growing !!! If 2 are in there … I might just lose it… I obviously won’t be going out as much due to the paps getting their money..shot of me…like they unfortunately already have,” Britney added.

The ‘Stranger’ hitmaker, who is already mother to two teen sons, Sean and Jayden, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, also said the pregnancy would likely be “hard” as she had previously experienced perinatal depression.

“it’s hard because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression … I have to say it is absolutely horrible … women didn’t talk about it back then … some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her … but now women talk about it everyday … thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret… This time I will be doing yoga every day !!! Spreading lots of joy and love,” she concluded.

Britney met Asghari in 2016 when they co-starred in a music video for her single ‘Slumber Party.’

  • Britney Spears’ ex tour manager reveals conservators controlled her medical care

    By ANI

WASHINGTON: Pop star Britney Spears’ former tour manager Dan George has made some shocking revelations recently, telling that the singer’s conservators controlled her medical care- including doctor visits.

Page Six obtained a recent interview sneak peek of CNN’s upcoming special chat with Britney Spears’ ex-tour manager, where he revealed how much control Spears’ conservators have over her medical care.

“The conservatorship dictated to her who her doctors were going to be, which doctors she was going to see, how often she was going to see them, how long those sessions would be — every aspect of her medical care,” he revealed.

George produced Spears’ ‘Circus’ tour from 2008 to 2009, when her father, Jamie Spears, was both the conservator of her person and her estate.

However, due to his own health issues, Jamie stepped down as conservator of her person in 2019, following which Jodi Montgomery was appointed.

Jamie, who is still her daughter’s conservator of the estate, oversees how his daughter’s funds will be distributed toward medical care and other needs.

George’s claims are close to what Britney herself disclosed in her bombshell June testimony. The ‘Toxic’ singer revealed at the time that conservators had forced her to stay on birth control.

“I have an [IUD] inside of myself right now so I don’t get pregnant. I wanted to take the [IUD] out so I could start trying to have another baby but this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have children,” she said.

As per Page Six, Britney also accused her team of forcing her to take lithium as retaliation for a dispute over her Las Vegas tour dance rehearsals.

“[He] said he had a million phone calls about how I was not cooperating in rehearsals and I haven’t been taking my medication. All of this was false. He immediately the next day put me on lithium out of nowhere, he took me off my normal meds I’ve been on for five years and lithium is a very, very strong and completely different medication compared to what I was used to,” she told.

Britney added that she felt drunk and couldn’t even have a conversation with her parents about anything. “I told them I was scared,” she said.

George also made a shocking revelation that the conservators’ only allowed Britney to read Christian books and could only have a cell phone “at times,” or when she had, it was “tightly controlled.”

George also claimed that Britney “was treated as more of an object than a human”. Her conservators even controlled who she could date and be friends with.

The singer got engaged to her long time boyfriend Sam Asghari, days after her father filed a petition to finally end her conservatorship after 13 long years of the court battle and noted that the court has the power to eliminate it “without ordering a psychological evaluation”.

On a related note, the next hearing in the case is scheduled for September 29.

  • Octavia Spencer apologises to Britney Spears, fiance Sam Asghari for prenup joke

    By IANS

NEW YORK: Actress Octavia Spencer apologised to Britney Spears and her fiance Sam Asghari after she made a prenup joke on Instagram after they got engaged.

When the superstar couple announced their engagement on Sunday, the Oscar-winning actress commented on Spears’ celebratory post, “make him sign a prenup.” However, on Wednesday, the ‘Hidden Figures’ star shared a photo of the couple on her own Instagram as her way of apologising to them.

She wrote, “Y’all, a few days ago Sam and Britney announced their engagement and me being me I made a joke. My intention was to make them laugh not cause pain,” she wrote.

“I’ve reached out to this lovely couple privately to apologise and now want to restore just a smidge of happiness they were robbed of. Britney’s fans have seen her through a lot of pain and she’s found happiness. We’re thrilled for her. So let’s show them love. #nonegativity”.

The 39-year-old pop superstar, along with the #FreeBritney movement, has been fighting to end the court conservatorship that has taken control of her life and career over the past 13 years. Last week, Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, filed a petition to end the conservatorship.

For his part, Asghari didn’t take Spencer’s comment personally. “You are very kind to clarify but i have no hard feelings whatsoever,” he responded to her apology post. “Jokes and misconceptions come with the territory.”

The 27-year-old personal trainer-turned-actor previously responded to the multiple prenup comments the couple received on his Instagram Story, writing, “Thank you everyone who is concerned about the prenup! Of course we’re getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day” with two laughing-crying emojis at the end, reports Billboard.com.

On Tuesday, Spears deleted her own Instagram account, explaining that she hoped to take a social media break “to celebrate my engagement.”

WASHINGTON: Oscar-winning actor Octavia Spencer recently clarified her joke about Britney Spears’ engagement to Sam Asghari.

After Spears posted the engagement news on her Instagram account on Sunday, Spencer commented below, “Make him sign a prenup.”

On Wednesday, Spencer shared her own post addressing the joke and noting that she has apologised to Spears and Asghari.

“Y’all, a few days ago Sam and Britney announced their engagement and me being me I made a joke,” she wrote alongside a photo of the happy couple.

“My intention was to make them laugh not cause pain. I’ve reached out to this lovely couple privately to apologize and now want to restore just a smidge of happiness they were robbed of,” she added.

“Britney’s fans have seen her through a lot of pain and she’s found happiness. We’re thrilled for her. So let’s show them love, #nonegativity,” Spencer continued of Spears, who has been in an ongoing legal battle with her father Jamie Spears over her conservatorship.

Model and actor, who has been dating Spears for more than four years, previously teased about having an “ironclad” prenuptial agreement when he and the popstar wed.

In an Instagram story posted on Monday, Asghari wrote that he and Spears would be protecting their personal assets before tying the knot.

“Thank you to everyone who is concerned about the prenup. Of course, we’re getting an ironclad prenup to protect my Jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day,” he joked along with two crying-laughing emojis.

  • Britney Spears announces engagement to boyfriend Sam Asghari, gets ‘lioness’ engraved ring

    By Associated Press

LOS ANGELES: Britney Spears announced her engagement Sunday to her boyfriend Sam Asghari with an exuberant post displaying a diamond ring engraved with the word “lioness.”

The news comes days after her father filed to end the court conservatorship that has controlled the singer’s life and money for 13 years.

She wrote “I can’t (expletive) believe it!” with an Instagram video post where she winks, kisses a smiling Asghari on the cheek and answers “yes!” when he asks if she likes the ring.

Asghari posted his own photo of Spears showing her ring finger to the camera.

The four-carat diamond ring is engraved inside the band with “lioness” because it’s his nickname for her, the company Forever Diamonds NY said in a statement.

The couple met on the set of the “Slumber Party” music video in 2016.

The singer told a judge in June she wanted to marry Asghari and have a baby with him during an impassioned plea to end the conservatorship, but said she hadn’t been allowed to remove an intrauterine device for birth control or even drive with him.

Legally, Spears can get married, but the conservatorship must approve it as with other major life decisions.

Spears was previously married to Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons, ages 14 and 15. She was briefly married to childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004.

  • Sam Asghari teases Britney Spears may return to stage performances soon

    By ANI

WASHINGTON: Pop star Britney Spears’ boyfriend Sam Asghari said he is ‘hopeful’ that the singer will be back to performing soon amid her conservatorship battle. The pop star last hit the stage in late 2017 for her Vegas residency.

After a workout session at a gym in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Sam was approached by TMZ and asked if his girlfriend would perform again amid her conservatorship battle.

Sam responded with an “absolutely!” followed up by a “hopefully” which is a clear indication that there is not any solid plan in place yet.

For the unversed, back in June, just a few days prior to her bombshell debut court hearing, Britney addressed the performance break to her fans in an Instagram video.

“Am I gonna take the stage again? Will I ever take the stage again? I have no idea. I’m having fun right now. I’m in a transition in my life, and I’m enjoying myself so, that’s it,” she said in the video at the time.

Meanwhile, a few days after her second court hearing in July, the pop star slammed those who criticised her social media dance videos and said that she will be staying firm on her decision of never performing again until her father is handling the conservatorship of her estate.

“For those of you who choose to criticize my dancing videos … look I’m not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think!!!!” Britney captioned an Instagram post.

Since then, the pop star has addressed the court and repeatedly called for the removal of her “abusive” father, revealing that she wanted to sue her entire family.

However, last week, after more than a decade of legal strife, her father, Jamie P. Spears, agreed to step down as her conservator once a proper plan is in place.

According to a court filing, Jamie hopes to work with the court and his daughter’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, to resolve pending matters related to his job as he passes the torch in order to facilitate a “smooth transition.”

So, with Jamie’s potential removal, there appears to be a possibility the ‘Toxic’ singer will return to the stage again.

  • Britney Spears gets COVID-19 vaccine with beau Sam Asghari

    By ANI
WASHINGTON: A vaccinated pop queen! American singer-songwriter Britney Spears has become the latest celebrity to receive the coronavirus vaccine.

On Thursday, Spears shared that she got the COVID-19 vaccine alongside her boyfriend Sam Asghari. The singer took to her Instagram handle to share a video documenting her experience after getting a shot of the vaccine.

“What did you think of the vaccine?” Asghari can be seen asking Spears on camera. She responded, “The people on the internet said it was really bad like a bullet through your arm.” Spears added, “It was nothing. I felt nothing. I’m fine and I hope I continue to stay fine.”

The couple then gives each other a high-five. Spears captioned the post by quoting Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Great success!” line from ‘Borat’. “Got the COVID vaccine, Great success…High-five!!!!!! @samasghari,” she wrote in the caption.

It’s unclear which vaccine Spears received, but fans thanked her in the comments for “encouraging others to get it” too. Spears’ video about getting vaccinated comes several days after singer Mariah Carey shared a video of herself receiving a dose.

According to the Los Angeles Times, more than 35 per cent of California residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. 20 per cent are fully vaccinated as cases continue to fall in the Golden State. But that’s not to say the third-largest state in the United States is COVID free, reported E! News.

Spears isn’t the first celebrity to share her vaccine experience with fans. On April 7, Today’s show co-hosts Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, Sheinelle Jones, Dylan Dreyer and Jenna Bush Hager each bared an arm on live TV as they received their first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine from a group of Walgreens pharmacists.

Ryan Reynolds, Martha Stewart, Dolly Parton and many more have also posted their vaccine experience online.
