The head of India’s premier cultural organization, RSS Sarkaryavah Mohan Bhagwat, will grace Gujarat with a packed two-day schedule beginning Wednesday. Amid his national duties, this visit promises deep dives into faith and fellowship.

Touching down in Ahmedabad by 10:30 AM Wednesday, Bhagwat will first connect at the provincial RSS headquarters. Come evening, he’ll journey to Vadtaldham in Kheda for darshan at Shri Swaminarayan Temple between 4:45 PM and 6:15 PM, performing puja and conversing with revered saints.

Thursday brings a highlight: the grand Dwishatabdi Patotsav at Ahmedabad’s Jetalpurdham Shri Swaminarayan Temple. From 9:30 AM to 11:45 AM, Bhagwat will join in worship and exchange thoughts with the devout community, marking 200 years of Shri Revati Baldevji Harikrishna Maharaj’s legacy.

Departing Ahmedabad at 4 PM Thursday, the tour concludes a chapter of devotion and strategy. Officials note this as a staple in Bhagwat’s calendar, assessing grassroots activities while honoring spiritual traditions.

Gujarat has been a frequent stopover. Just last October 2024, a three-day stint zeroed in on centenary year momentum. January 2024 saw him at Dharmapur’s Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, fostering dialogues with gurus. Sessions in Ahmedabad and Surat have long bolstered local swayamsevak networks.

Such visits exemplify Bhagwat’s vision: weaving RSS’s ideological fabric with Gujarat’s rich Hindu heritage, ensuring the organization’s relevance in modern India.

As Uttar Pradesh gears up for its 2027 polls, RSS supremo Mohan Bhagwat lit a beacon of inspiration in Meerut. Speaking to swayamsevaks, he outlined five principles to deepen organizational bonds and expand the RSS footprint. Central to his message was the call for unattached benevolence.

‘You must undertake noble works sincerely and selflessly,’ Bhagwat instructed in his fifth principle. ‘Forget demanding favors like election tickets. Do good deeds and forget them like throwing a stone in a well.’ Excellence in national service, he promised, would integrate even unaware contributors into the RSS fold.

Echoing themes from his recent Lucknow address, Bhagwat reiterated that social cohesion, caste abolition, and cultural oneness form the nation’s foundation. ‘India’s children are siblings, all Hindus at core,’ he proclaimed. This unity, he believes, erodes discrimination and fragmentation.

He dismissed caste as an eternal system, calling it a modern disorder. ‘Once tied to professions, it’s now obsolete—youth attitudes prove it. Our task: unite under the Hindu banner.’ On modernity, Bhagwat drew a fine line: reject servile copying of the West, but adapt innovations fitting timeless principles.

Regarding UGC norms, with the Supreme Court seized of the issue, premature comments are unwise. ‘Prioritize societal unity over speculation,’ he urged. Bhagwat’s Uttarakhand itinerary follows, featuring centenary-driven mega Hindu conclaves aiming for 1,000 events statewide to galvanize cultural revival.

Ranchi buzzed with anticipation as RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat headlined a tribal dialogue event, spotlighting the organization’s dedication to India’s indigenous populations. This breaking development highlights ongoing efforts to address tribal concerns through open forums.

Jharkhand’s tribal communities, comprising a significant portion of the state’s population, have historically sought greater recognition. Bhagwat’s address focused on empowering these groups via education, employment opportunities, and cultural safeguarding. The program featured interactive sessions where participants shared insights on pressing local issues.

Key themes included the preservation of tribal traditions amid modernization, environmental conservation in forested regions, and economic self-reliance. Bhagwat advocated for a harmonious blend of tradition and progress, drawing applause from the audience. The event was meticulously organized, ensuring diverse voices were heard.

RSS volunteers played a crucial role in coordinating the meet, reflecting the sangh’s grassroots network. This initiative aligns with national campaigns promoting social harmony and development. Political analysts view it as a strategic move ahead of regional elections.

The dialogue extended beyond speeches, incorporating cultural performances that celebrated tribal heritage. Participants left with renewed optimism, pledging cooperation on community projects. This event reinforces the RSS’s narrative of inclusive nationalism.

Looking ahead, similar programs are planned across tribal belts, indicating a sustained engagement strategy. Bhagwat’s visit not only boosted morale but also opened channels for future collaborations. As reports continue to surface, the event’s ripple effects on tribal discourse remain a focal point.

RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat engaged deeply with Jharkhand’s tribal representatives, portraying Hindu religion not as rigid worship methods but as a blueprint for living together. This Saturday’s intimate dialogue underscored…

RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat engaged deeply with Jharkhand’s tribal representatives, portraying Hindu religion not as rigid worship methods but as a blueprint for living together. This Saturday’s intimate dialogue underscored the beauty of India’s pluralistic fabric.

Quoting Bhagwat via an RSS statement, India’s hallmark is unity woven through diversity. Worship styles may differ, yet civilizational ethos unites us. ‘After years of observation and thought, it’s evident: we thrive by working as one society,’ he said, transcending apparent variances.

Bhagwat traced ‘Hindu’ to elemental connections—rivers, woods, farmlands—birthing Vedas and Upanishads from nature’s embrace. Atharvaveda exemplifies respect for multiplicity, with Mother Earth sustaining all, embracing every tongue equally.

Tribal voices dominated: forced conversions, PESA Act shortcomings, and tribal status erosions. Bhagwat positioned these as pan-India challenges, vowing advocacy to PM Modi for remedies.

Prominent critic Nisha Uraon spotlighted PESA’s defects post-Jharkhand’s recent notification. ‘Customary laws and traditions are absent, undermining the Act’s foundation,’ she told Bhagwat. ‘Tribals face existential threats from this oversight.’ Enacted in 1996 for scheduled areas’ rights, PESA demands faithful implementation.

Attendees spanned political lines: ex-CMs Arjun Munda, Champai Soren; Babulal Marandi; others. Following Friday’s RSS meets, Bhagwat’s visit amplifies calls for cultural preservation amid modernization, urging a return to roots for national strength.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat recently emphasized the critical role of Hindu civilization in global existence during his visit to Manipur. Bhagwat stated, “Without Hindus, the world will cease to exist,” characterizing Hindu civilization as eternal and highlighting its resilience compared to ancient cultures like Greece, Egypt, and Rome which have vanished. He asserted that Hindu society acts as a global guardian of dharma, attributing its continuity to an intrinsic societal network. This visit marked Bhagwat’s first to Manipur following recent ethnic conflicts. He reiterated his stance that all Indians, including Muslims and Christians, share common ancestry. Beyond cultural significance, Bhagwat strongly advocated for India’s economic self-reliance, calling it a foundational pillar for nation-building, alongside military and knowledge prowess. “Our economy must be completely self-reliant. We should not be dependent on anyone,” he urged, aligning with the government’s current focus on indigenous policies amidst international trade challenges. Bhagwat also drew parallels from historical struggles, like the decline of Naxalism and India’s own fight for independence, to illustrate the power of societal resolve in overcoming adversities and maintaining national spirit.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has urged the youth, particularly in Assam and the Northeast, to observe the organization closely and form their opinions about it free from prejudice and external narratives. Speaking at a youth leadership conference in Guwahati, Bhagwat emphasized India’s inherent tradition of respecting diverse paths, stating that while one’s own way might be correct, others’ ways can also be valid within their specific contexts. He illustrated this by referencing communities in Pakistan who, after separation from India, have allegedly lost their linguistic diversity. Bhagwat asserted that Hindu society is the one that truly cherishes diversity, and building such a society is a core RSS objective. He further stated that societal transformation hinges on a united and capable Bharatiya society. Addressing societal issues, Bhagwat argued that corruption eradication requires character building beyond just legal measures. Similarly, he highlighted that effective cow protection necessitates societal awareness alongside legal frameworks. On foreign policy, Bhagwat strongly advocated for an ‘India First’ approach, urging the nation to prioritize its interests without favoring or opposing any specific country, much like major global powers such as the US and China. He concluded by suggesting that a strong, self-reliant India naturally contributes to global welfare and is better equipped to navigate international challenges and foster global harmony.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat asserted in Bengaluru that the identity of being Hindu inherently carries a deep responsibility towards Bharat. He stated that everyone in India, including Muslims and Christians, shares the same ancestral heritage, thus reinforcing the notion that ‘there is no A-Hindu’. Bhagwat emphasized that India is fundamentally a Hindu nation, and every individual identified as Hindu is a ‘son of Bharat Mata’, bound to uphold the nation’s well-being. Addressing a lecture series, he categorized Hindu society into four groups: those proud of their identity, those acknowledging it without pride, those privately identifying but not openly, and those who have forgotten their Hindu roots. He reiterated that the shared ancestry means individuals of all faiths in India are descendants of the same lineage. Bhagwat concluded by calling for a united Hindu society to champion the message of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’—that the world is one family—and to develop an Indian model of life based on morality and compassion for global adoption. The event was part of the RSS’s centennial celebration, attended by 1200 prominent figures from South India.
