Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned 32 crore 97 lakh 35 thousand rupees for the development and water management work of command area of Kharang reservoir of Bilaspur district. This amount has been approved under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana Fast Track. With the sanctioned amount, the work of development of command area and water management will be done in 8 thousand 300 hectare area. In this regard, the Water Resources Department from Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan has given administrative approval to the Chief Engineer, Hasdeo Cachar, Bilaspur.
