A video showcasing widespread cheating during an internal examination at a higher secondary school in Tilauthu, Rohtas district, Bihar, has caused a stir. The footage, which purportedly captures the examination environment, reveals students openly copying answers. Instead of being in exam halls, students are seen writing their exams in the school’s open grounds, verandas, and even under trees. The video shows groups of students huddled together, copying from each other, while others are seen sitting on the ground. No invigilators or adherence to examination rules are apparent in the video. The incident has raised serious questions about the integrity of the examination process. The education department has initiated an investigation into the matter, with the district education officer stating that appropriate action will be taken against those found responsible.

The renowned Tutla Bhawani Temple in the Rohtas district of Bihar is set to undergo a significant transformation, equipped with modern amenities and a new look. The Department of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change is undertaking the revamp with an investment of approximately 12 crore rupees. Forest Minister Dr. Sunil Kumar laid the foundation stone for the project on Sunday.

The temple holds significance not only religiously but also attracts visitors with its natural beauty. Despite the large influx of devotees and tourists, the lack of basic infrastructure, such as adequate roads, has been a challenge.

Key features of the renovation include:

* Repair of the existing pathways to ease access for devotees.
* Installation of CCTV cameras for security and surveillance, along with the provision of changing rooms and restrooms.
* Construction of a 100-meter-long walkway bridge to enhance visitor convenience and attraction, facilitating easy access to the temple.
* Development of a grand main entrance and modern gateway to welcome visitors.
* Implementation of a solar system to promote environmental conservation and energy efficiency.
* Construction of shops in the vicinity to boost local employment, offering essential items to visitors. This will provide income opportunities for locals and strengthen the regional economy.

The primary aim of the project is to establish Tutla Bhawani as a prominent religious and natural tourist destination. The department anticipates a substantial increase in visitor numbers upon completion.

The temple, located in the Kaimur hills of Rohtas district, is famous for its natural beauty and waterfalls. Also known as Tutileshwari Bhawani Temple or Tutrahi Dham, it houses a 12th-century idol. The temple was built by the Kharwar kings.

Devotees visiting Tutla Bhawani Temple pay their respects to the goddess Bhawani and enjoy the nearby waterfalls. A large crowd of devotees gathers during Navratri.

A shocking incident has occurred in the Rohtas district of Bihar. A priest allegedly murdered the Mahant (head priest) of a temple by striking him with a stone on Friday morning. The accused priest, identified as Subhash Chaubey, is a resident of Bahera village. Before committing the crime, he locked the other priests and devotees present in the temple inside a room and fled the scene.

The incident took place at the Vijay Raghav Temple in the Gandhi Nagar locality of Rohtas district. Witnesses reported that the Mahant, Shyam Narayan Ji Maharaj, had come down from the roof to fetch milk around 8 am. The accused priest attacked him from behind and then escaped. The injured Mahant was rushed to the hospital, but he died on the way.

According to reports, construction work is underway at the temple, with windows and doors removed and walls partially demolished. The accused reportedly used materials from the construction site to attack the Mahant. Three to four other monks and devotees were present during the attack. Following the incident, the police were informed, and they took possession of the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination.

Local residents stated that the Mahant was severely injured in the attack, having sustained a head injury. He bled profusely. The Mahant died on the way to the hospital.

Reportedly, the priest accused of the murder was employed to serve the deity. A worker at the temple revealed that the accused priest had been seeking leave from the Mahant, which was denied. This led to an argument between the two. The priest had also received an advance payment for three to four months. The Mahant is said to have demanded the money back and told him to leave. Angered by this, the priest attacked the Mahant and fled. The police are currently searching for the accused.
