The Chainsaw Man movie has earned a total of Rs 2.53 crore within the first four days of its release. On day 4 alone, the film collected an estimated Rs 34 lakh. The movie centers around Denji, who becomes Chainsaw Man after merging with a Devil’s heart. He joins Special Division 4’s Devil Hunters, and things seem promising after a date with his crush, Makima. However, the story takes a turn with the introduction of Reze, a girl working at a café. The voice cast features Kikunosuke Toya, Reina Ueda, Fairouz Ai, Tomori Kusunoki, Shogo Sakata, Shiori Izawa, Karin Takahashi, Maaya Uchida, Natsuki Hanae and Yūya Uchida. The Chainsaw Man anime is adapted from the manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which tells the story of Denji, a teenager who makes a pact with Pochita, the Chainsaw Devil, granting him the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws. He then becomes part of the Public Safety Devil Hunters, a government agency that combats Devils threatening Japan.

This 2025 Japanese dark fantasy action film, based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s popular “Chainsaw Man” manga, debuted in Japan on September 19 and in select Asian countries on September 24. Indian audiences can now view the film in both Japanese and Hindi from September 26, 2025.

Despite the excitement surrounding its release, the box office performance of “Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc” has not yet reached the record-breaking success of “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle.”

The film opened with a modest response, earning approximately Rs 0.5 crore on its first day, according to initial estimates. Day 2 saw a slight increase, with collections reaching around Rs 0.74 crore, bringing the two-day total to approximately Rs 1.24 crore.

The storyline centers around Denji, now known as ‘Chainsaw Man,’ a boy with a devil’s heart, who works as a devil hunter with Special Division 4. After a movie date with Makima, the girl he likes, he finds himself taking shelter from the rain and encounters Reze, a girl employed at a café.
