    The disaster management website has also been revamped to benefit citizens providing information on dos and don’ts during a disaster. The bodies and functions of the authority to inform the public are also highlighted. It is important in this that persons with disabilities will also get benefit from this site.

  • Financial assistance of 32 lakhs to natural disaster victims

    The Department of Revenue and Disaster Management of the Government of Chhattisgarh grants financial assistance to various natural disaster victims through the District Collector. Financial assistance of Rs 32 lakh has been approved in 8 cases under Janjgir-Champa, Uttar Bastar Kanker and Koriya districts of the state.
    Under the provisions of the Revenue Book Circular, Kundandas of village Seoni of Janjgir-Champa district and Kumar Anandi of village Sakti of Sakti tehsil of Janjgir died due to drowning in the water, the families of the deceased received Rs.     After the death of drowning of Phulsaron Bai of Gadegaon village of Antagarh tehsil of Uttar Bastar Kanker and Lakiram Dhruv of village Kalepras, Babi Singh, resident of village Raipur of Baikunthpur development block of Korea district, drowned in the water of Hatakeshwar of Tamjira village And in the event of Rampal’s death from snake bite of Bharatpur development block, financial assistance of Rs. Four lakh has been sanctioned to the families of the victims of the dead.
