At the Shubham “K Mart” in Raipur, the Chief Minister of the state made a surprise visit to understand the impact of GST savings. He purchased essential household items worth 1,645 rupees, paying via UPI. He interacted with shoppers, inquiring about the difference in prices of household goods due to the GST rate cuts. The Chief Minister not only bought groceries, benefiting from the reduced GST rates but also engaged with the public. He inquired about the impact on household budgets, and discussed daily life with the youth and senior citizens. His approachable behavior touched many, who expressed that the state’s leader was among them as a common citizen.

During interactions, he listened to views on GST reforms. People shared that they were greatly relieved by the reduced prices of medicines and rations. He smiled, stating, “This is the real objective, that the impact of the reforms reaches the common people.” Purchasing items himself and observing the new prices, he added, “This improvement is not just on paper but a visible change in every family’s life.” He urged everyone to support the Swadeshi movement, to which people responded with enthusiastic support.

Apple is set to open its new retail store, Apple Hebbal, in Bengaluru, India’s technology hub, on Tuesday, September 2nd. This will be Apple’s first official store in South India. Previously, the company launched retail stores in Mumbai (Apple BKC) and Delhi (Apple Saket). This marks the third physical outlet for Apple in India, in addition to its online store.

The store will offer a wide array of the latest Apple products, including the iPhone 16 lineup, MacBook Pro, iPad Air, Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods 4, and AirTag. The Apple Hebbal store will be staffed by 70 trained employees from 15 Indian states. This team will assist customers not only in selecting products but also with financing options, iOS setup, and switching from Android to iPhone. The store will operate entirely on renewable energy and maintain carbon-neutral operations to minimize environmental impact.

Apple Hebbal will serve as a learning center, offering free daily sessions called “Today at Apple,” where visitors can learn about iPhone photography, the use of Apple Intelligence, creative art and illustration with iPad and Apple Pencil, and group bookings for families, students, and business groups. The store is scheduled to open on Tuesday, September 2nd, at 1 PM. This expansion signifies Apple’s growing presence in India and represents another significant milestone for the company.

Apple’s annual event is also expected this month, where the company may launch its new iPhone series. The iPhone 17 series in several Asian countries will reportedly come without a SIM slot, utilizing only eSIM. Currently, India offers both physical SIM slots and eSIM options.

Technology giant Apple has announced the upcoming launch of its fourth retail store in India. The new store will open in Koregaon Park, Pune, on September 4th. This follows the recent opening of a new store in the Hebbal area of Bengaluru. This expansion is part of Apple’s offline strategy in India, a country that is becoming one of the company’s largest markets.

Customers can explore and purchase the latest Apple products at the Apple Koregaon Park store. Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses, and business teams will be available to provide guidance and support. The store will also host “Today at Apple” sessions, where customers can learn skills like photography, music, art, and coding for free. To commemorate the store’s launch, Apple is offering customers an exclusive Koregaon Park wallpaper for download, along with a special Apple Music playlist inspired by the sounds of Pune. More information about the new store is available on its official page.

Apple is not only opening new stores but also focusing on making India a global manufacturing hub. All models of the upcoming iPhone 17 series, including high-end Pro variants, will be assembled in India from the start. This marks the first time the company will produce every new iPhone variant in India.

Apple has opened three stores in India so far, with the fourth one announced. Apple’s first store in India opened in April 2023 at Apple BKC, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The second store opened in Saket, Delhi, at the Select City Walk mall. The third Apple store opened in Phoenix Mall of Asia, Bengaluru, on September 2, 2025. The company has also prepared for the opening of the fourth store.

Apple has decided to close one of its retail stores in China, marking the first time the company is shutting down a store in the country. The Apple store in…

Apple has decided to close one of its retail stores in China, marking the first time the company is shutting down a store in the country. The Apple store in the Parkland Mall, located in the Zhongshan district of Dalian, will close permanently on August 9th. Apple cited ongoing changes within the shopping complex and the departure of several brands as reasons for the closure. Major brands such as Coach, Sandro, and Hugo Boss had already vacated the Parkland Mall.

This move comes amid a backdrop of declining consumer spending and economic pressures in China. Apple’s sales in China decreased by 2.3 percent in the second quarter, reaching $16 billion, falling short of the projected $16.8 billion. Apple has stated its commitment to providing a strong customer experience. The company operates approximately 56 stores in China, representing 10% of its global retail footprint. Employees from the Dalian store will be relocated to the Olympia 66 mall store, which is only a 10-minute distance away.

Furthermore, Apple is expanding its retail network outside of China. A new store is scheduled to open on August 16th in Uniwalk Qianhai, Shenzhen. Additional store openings are planned in Beijing and Shanghai, following the opening of a new store in Anhui province earlier this year. Meanwhile, India is emerging as a significant manufacturing and export hub for Apple.
