This special women’s medical mobile clinic launched for women will be the first unique clinic of its kind in the country. Only women patients will get free treatment facility in the trains of clinics. Only women staff and women doctors, women lab technicians and women ANMs will be employed in Dai-Didi clinic trains. This clinic will be operated under the Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme. In this clinic, along with first aid of women, there will be additional facility for breast cancer screening by women doctor, self breast examination of beneficiaries, regular and special screening of pregnant women etc. This clinic will be set up in the slum area on a predetermined day near Anganwadi in the cities in collaboration with the Women and Child Development Department. Along with this clinic, benefits of various beneficial projects of Women and Child Development Department for pregnant women, children etc. will also be provided.
