The breakthrough came during the search: a phony NIA card, which authorities quickly debunked. The real NIA clarified no such IDs exist in their system. Posing as an agency official, the fraudster leveraged the card’s authority to extract money from desperate families.

Digging deeper, police learned the man had targeted the minor’s impoverished family in Kashmir. Luring them with tales of secure Delhi jobs, he pocketed upfront fees. They had been in the city since February 12, holed up in a Jama Masjid guesthouse while he stalled with empty promises.

His sham network of ‘contacts’ yielded zero results, and suspicious behavior drew police eyes. Inconsistencies during questioning unraveled the plot, exposing the fake document.

FIRs for fraud and impersonation have been filed. Collaboration with intelligence units and special task forces continues, as officers hunt for additional victims. He further added that the primary aim of Ramlila is to promote religion, morality, and traditions, and every decision should reflect this sentiment. Gupta concluded the letter by expressing the Vishva Hindu Parishad’s hope that the Luv Kush Ramlila committee understands the seriousness of the matter and will arrive at a respectful resolution.

Upon arrival at the Red Fort, the Prime Minister will be received by key officials, including the Defence Minister, the Minister of State for Defence, and the Defence Secretary. The government also engaged in diplomatic efforts, sending delegations to various countries to address cross-border terrorism. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ is also highlighted.

The Ministry of Culture will organize the fourth edition of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, encouraging citizens to fly the national flag at their homes. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat noted that over 5 lakh youths have registered as volunteers for the Tiranga campaign. The campaign will involve widespread participation from state governments, educational institutions, and community organizations. The celebrations will culminate on August 15, 2025, with a unified display of the Tiranga, symbolizing national pride.
