  • Congress to seek review of SC order on release of Rajiv assassination convicts

    By PTI

NEW DELHI: The Congress will seek a review of the Supreme Court decision to release six convicts of the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, senior party leader and lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi said on Monday.

“We are yet to decide on the modalities — whether we will intervene in the Central government’s review application or intervene otherwise,” Singhvi told PTI.

The Congress, in principle, has decided to seek a review of the apex court decision, he said. The review will be sought in the next few days, a party insider added.

Facing criticism from Congress, the government last week moved the Supreme Court seeking a review of its order for the premature release of the convicts in the case.

The Supreme Court on November 11 directed the premature release of the six, including Nalini Sriharan and R P Ravichandran, serving a life term in the case.

It noted that the Tamil Nadu government has recommended remission of their sentence.

Besides Nalini and Ravichandran, the four others released were Santhan, Murugan, Robert Payas and Jayakumar.

The Centre had said the order granting remission to the convicts, who had assassinated the former prime minister, was passed without affording it an adequate opportunity for hearing despite it being a necessary party to the case.

The government highlighted the alleged procedural lapse, saying the convicts seeking remission did not formally implead the Centre as a party which resulted in its non-participation in the case.ALSO READ | A timeline of events in the case

  • Rajiv Gandhi’s rule as PM was a golden era: Former Karnataka CM Veerappa Moily

    By Express News Service

HYDERABAD: Former Karnataka chief minister Veerappa Moily on Tuesday described late Rajiv Gandhi’s five-year prime ministerial tenure (1984-1989) as the golden era of India. The Congress leader was speaking at Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Divas at Charminar in Hyderabad where he was honoured with Sadbhavana Award instituted by Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Yatra Commemoration Committee.

Sadbhavana Divas is an annual event in memory of Rajiv Gandhi’s Sadbhavana Yatra. It was started 31 years ago this day in the twin cities to promote amity among various sections of society.

Speaking on the occasion, Moily said that Rajiv Gandhi was a leader who had laid down his life for the nation. He had single-handedly solved the problems faced by people in Assam, Tripura, Tamil Nadu, Moily said.

The hallmarks of Rajiv Gandhi’s rule were development, unity, peace and communal amity. He had raised the bar on ethical values in politics, the former chief minister said. Moliy predicted that the Congress would stage a comeback in Telangana in 2023.

Those who spoke included TPCC president A Revanth Reddy, Telangana in-charge Manickam Tagore, MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy and leaders Madhu Yashki, Shabbir Ali and Ponnala Lakshmaiah.

  • Congress slams BJP for removing Rajiv Gandhi’s name from Assam national park

    By Express News Service

GUWAHATI: The Congress in Assam is livid that the state’s BJP-led government has renamed the Rajiv Gandhi National Park as Orang National Park.

The government said the decision was made taking cognisance of the demands of the Adivasi and Tea Tribe community.

The Congress condemned “such petty attitudes” of the BJP government. The party said by just changing the name of a park or an institution, the government would not be able to wipe away Gandhi’s contributions as the architect of future India.

“The computers and the mobile phones that BJP is using today to further their agenda of rewriting history were made available to them through the IT revolution brought about by Rajiv Gandhi,” state Congress chief Bhupen Kumar Borah said.

He said nobody could wipe away Gandhi’s contribution towards women empowerment at the grassroots level through 33% reservation in panchayats and his encouragement of youth to engage in political decision-making by reducing the voting age from 21 to 18 years.

“Can we wipe away the contributions of Rajiv Gandhi towards bringing peace to Assam through the Assam Accord? Can we deny that he made the elected Congress government of late Hiteswar Saikia resign to make way for AGP (Asom Gana Parishad) to contest elections and form the government?” Borah asked.

He said Gandhi had done so as he believed and respected the aspirations of the Assamese people.

“But today’s BJP would not understand such kind of politics as they are only busy in changing names of institutions, rewriting an agenda-based history of India where they have zero contribution and buying politicians of other parties to form governments,” Borah added.

The Orang National Park, which straddles across an area of 79.28 sq km, was established as a sanctuary in 1985 and declared a national park in 1999. It has a rich flora and fauna, including rhinos, pygmy hogs, Asian elephants, wild water buffalos and Bengal tigers.

  • Editorial :- Why did the Congress create its policy and declaration by considering the Muslims of India as separatist and Pro-Pakistan’s ANTI- India first and second?

Doing politics by betrayal 130 core Indians and with the country, and According to this above same, why should the Congress party have to determine its party’s policy?

What is Rahul Gandhi trying to prove to be a hypocrite to Hinduism and to go against Hinduism?

The Gotra is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘genealogy’. In Hinduism, there is a clan on the basis of the birth of a member of every lineage. This Gotra is found on the Gotra of the father, because in Hinduism, there is a dynasty in the name of father

It was okay to join Lahore in organizing the Kartarpur corridor program, but Siddhu lifted the Rafael case by reaching Lahore. Siddhu is not taking any credit from the country by raising issues related to defense deals in Pakistan. In a conversation with the media in Lahore, he talked about getting a hug from the Pakistan army chief saying that he had embraced no Rafael deal. He has said that when two Punjabi people meet, then they get hug and this is normal.

Will Amarinder Singh and the Congress chief take Siddhu’s gesture seriously? This is not possible because this anti-india game have been played on the instructions of Rahul Gandhi.

Navjot Sidhu said in the event organized by the media: “The seeds that Imran Khan sowed three months ago have now become a tree. It is a happy moment for the Sikh community that in order to receive the blessings of Baba Guru Nanak, without any difficulty, a corridor will be available for reaching Kartarpur. ”

Rajiv Gandhi opened the lock of Ram Lala’s door to get votes of Hindus and there after Shahbano case order passed by the Supreme Court had been changed in sansad by Rajiv Gandhi himself to get votes of Muslims, Rahul Gandhi is on the one hand as a hypocrite and on the other hand adopting the Pakistan-based policy. The election manifesto of the Muslim and Christian appeasement and the video of same intention are built. The manifesto of Telangana and the video of Kamal Nath Viral  in the social media are examples of this.

A few days after the video shown by Madhya Pradesh state Congress chief Kamal Nath, the party’s Muslim workers asked to ensure “90 percent voting” in community-dominated booths, the party attacked the shock on secularism. In its draft manifesto before the Telangana elections, Congress has made a great attempt to appease and provoke Muslims against Hindus.

The draft has been accessed by Times Now. This shows that Congress has unveiled seven ‘Muslim-only’ schemes and some Christian appeasement in its manifesto to entice voters of Muslim and Christian communities before the Telangana assembly election in 2018.

On the one hand, when PM Modi talks about development of everyone, adopts the policy accordingly and executing the programs accordingly. Congress vice versa and minority appeasement policy is on the opposite.

There are plans for free electricity for mosques and churches, special occasion in government contracts for Muslim youth, 20 lakh aid to poor Muslim students, residential schools for Muslims, hospitals for minorities, special Urdu D.Sc for minorities (District Selection Committee) ) And penalties for firms for recruitment on the basis of religion.

In particular, People’s Front, including Congress, Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and Telangana Jan Samiti (TJS), has released its manifesto, which is the common document on which all four The parties agreed. However, Congress will release its own manifesto, which includes ‘Muslim-only’ schemes.

It is clear from this that the character of Congress is communal and the Congress party has never believed in equality.

It is notable here that Dr. Manmohan Singh, while being the Prime Minister, said that Muslims have the first right to have resources on India’s resources. It means that Muslims are the first citizens of the country and Hindus are second-rate citizens, according to Congress.

Former Telangana minority commission chairman Abid Rasool Khan, who had resigned from the Congress in the beginning of this month, had described the manifesto as “unfortunate step”. Khan said that Congress is only making Muslims happy and do not want to work for their upliftment.

According to news from Times Now, Congress will launch several schemes keeping in mind the Muslims in its manifesto. Muslim youth, construction of residential schools for Muslims, construction of hospitals for minorities Can there be schemes like special Urdu district selection committee for minorities, etc.?

The Congress has made many promises to Christians besides Muslims, in which Scheduled Caste status, two bedroom houses for Dalit Christians, free education for their children and health and ex-gratia insurance of five lakh rupees to the church priests.

  • Editorial :- Har Chunaav Mein Elaayans Badalane Va Yoo Tarn Lene Mein Maahir Naidu Bane Ustaad Mahaagathabandhan Ke : Congress Sashankit

In the face of Ram, in front of Ram, while churning a knife in every election, Chandra Babu Naidu, who has been in the process of changing the alliance and taking a U turn, has gone for a grand alliance with Congress for the year 2019. What will be the fate of this three trumpet race?
Chandra Babu Naidu accompanied by Andhra Chief Minister BJP. Now they are calling the alliance of the opposition parties or alliances in the whole of India. In Andhra itself, they have not been able to form an alliance against the BJP. YRS and the figure of 36 between them.
The same is the case of Telangana. Before Andhra, Chief Minister of Telangana Chandrashekhar Rao was doing the third round of exercise for 2019, it has become ti-ti fiss.
In Telangana, Congress and Chandra Babu Naidu’s TDP are contesting against Chandrashekhar Rao’s party against TRS. This too is a big coalition spread against the BJP.
People of undivided Andhra, i.e. the people of Telangana and divided Andhra, are well aware of how the sculptures of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were thrown out by throwing hammer and thrown on the road.
Naidu’s race happened after Mamta Banerjee’s court. Mamta Banerjee’s TMC and the hostility of the communist parties is well known. That is why Mamata Banerjee is frightened by the BJP’s growing influence. Regardless of whether the Congress and the Communist parties will come against the BJP along with Mamta.
Naidu’s race started with Sharad Pawar and Farooq Abdullah to get the ambition of becoming the Prime Minister. So far, this race has not been able to reach Uttar Pradesh where the Lok Sabha has 80 seats.
The statements of Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav are published in the first page of this issue of Lokshakti. Both the Congress and the BJP are making Nagnath one and the second as a snake nanatha, making the strategy of 2019. Apart from this, Raja Bhaiya also broke Akhilesh’s waist by making him a separate party.
In 1996, Naidu did an important task to unite all the different parties in the secular front that Karnataka politician HD Deve Gowda is credited for reaching the Prime Minister’s post.
Just two years after Naidu took a tremendous U-turn, along with right-wing ideology BJP, played an important role in forming the country’s first NDA government, due to which Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the Prime Minister.
In 2004, when his party faced defeat in Andhra Pradesh and after that in the 2004 Lok Sabha elections, the NDA alliance was defeated, Naidu had lost the right to be a communal image of BJP and Gujarat riots. Not implemented.
In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the Congress and Chandrababu Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party (TDP) are together. Both parties are contesting Telangana assembly elections. The next year, the Andhra Pradesh assembly and the Lok Sabha elections together have agreed between them. Even if the Economic Times quoted the sources quoted by sources, the Congress is not completely convinced about Chandrababu Naidu. Rather it is only a matter of concern. Especially in the Congress unit of Andhra Pradesh, Naidu is repeated.
According to the newspaper, the concern of Congress is the hyperactivity of Chandrababu Naidu. Earlier he was convinced that Naidu might have come with the Congress and accepted his leadership in non-BJP coalition. But this perception seems shaky because Naidu is increasingly joining the Congress as well as with other parties. It has started to appear that they may also present their claims in parallel to the leadership of the Congress leadership to lead the opposition coalition.
Chandrababu Nayudu is himself a self-appointed family member. The parties they are converging are also separatist-minded familyist parties who are eager to make the country crave for split power.
The Karnataka Congress government had also introduced the format of Agal flag for Karnataka. Mamta Banerjee called the exercise of every year of the army in toll plaza in Calcutta as a coup also. Similarly, following the same Mamata Banerjee today, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Naidu has announced that he will not let the Constitutional independent body of India run the CBI. What is the separation of this kind of thinking, the power that divides the country into pieces, the extent to which the support of the public will be available to the loyalist families?
