State Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Shri Jai Singh Aggarwal has said that action will be taken against the people who have done illegal plotting in the country. The Revenue Minister has instructed officers to take strict action against the people who are plotting illegally in the meeting of revenue officers held at Korba district headquarters. MP Smt. Jyotsna Mahant also attended the meeting through video conferencing.
The Revenue Minister also asked for speedy disposal of compensation cases of land acquired for roads and important railway projects of National Highways Authority of Korba district. The Revenue Minister instructed in the meeting to complete the works like mutation, distribution, demarcation, diversion etc. by the deadline. In the meeting, the Revenue Minister said that the revenue officers should activate their information system and keep a special watch on illegal plotting in urban areas. He directed to take strict action against illegal plotting, saying that by preventing illegal plotting, the revenue loss to the government will be saved on the one hand, on the other hand people will buy houses of government institutions like Housing Board, Municipal Corporation at reasonable prices. The government will also get revenue and people will also avoid unnecessary problems. The Revenue Minister also directed the officials to speed up the distribution of compensation for the roads acquired by National Highways Authority of India in Korba district and the land acquired for the proposed rail projects. Shri Agarwal directed to resolve all such disputed compensation cases by campaigning. In this regard, he said in the meeting that due to early resolution of compensation cases, the work of road and rail projects will be started soon and people will be able to get relief soon.
