    Oppo Reno 5 Pro + 5G has a 6.55 inch Full HD + AMOLED display panel. The screen refresh rate is 90 Hz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor has been given in the phone. There are 8 GB + 12 GB options for RAM. It has 128 GB + 256 GB storage. It runs on Android 11 based ColorOS 11. This phone has been introduced in Star River Dream and Floating Night Shadow Color Options.

    As a camera, the most special of this latest phone of Oppo Reno 5 series is its camera. It has a 50 megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor in the rear. Apart from this, there are three sensors of 16 megapixels, 13 megapixels + 2 megapixels on its rear. The front of the phone has a 32 megapixel selfie camera.

  • Samsung Galaxy A72 4G With Snapdragon 720G SoC Spotted on Geekbench

    Samsung Galaxy A72 is thought to have been spotted in a new Geekbench listing, which suggests the smartphone could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC for its 4G variant. A recent report had claimed that the smartphone will be launched in both 4G and 5G variants. Rumours also suggest that the smartphone will have a 64-megapixel primary sensor in a quad rear camera setup. Some renders of the rumoured handset shared by a tipster recently show the phone sporting a flat display with a hole-punch cutout.

    As per the listing on Geekbench, a phone with model number SM-A725F, believed to be Samsung Galaxy A72 4G, could come with 8GB of RAM and Android 11. The phone gets a single-core test score of 526 and multi-core test score of 1,623, and is listed with a Qualcomm processor codenamed ‘atoll’, which is associated with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC.

    The Samsung Galaxy A72 4G Geekbench results are quite similar to those of Galaxy A52 4G, which was also recently spotted on the benchmarking website with the Snapdragon 720G SoC.

    Samsung Galaxy S21 is largely expected to launch next month, and the phone has been subject to several rumours and tips in the past. It has now been allegedly spotted on Geekbench with the new Snapdragon 888 SoC and Android 11. The smartphone, along with two others in the Galaxy S21 series, is expected to launch on January 14 with pre-orders beginning on the same day. Leaks suggest that there may be a Samsung Galaxy S21+ model and another Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra model in the lineup.

    Geekbench benchmarking site has listed a Samsung phone with model number SM-G991U. This model number is largely associated with Samsung Galaxy S21, and the listing suggests that the phone will run on Android 11 software when it launches. It is also tipped to have a processor codenamed ‘lahiana,’ that is associated with the newly announced Snapdragon 888 SoC.

    This next-gen flagship SoC for premium smartphones was unveiled a few days ago at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2020. The new chip, a successor to last year’s Snapdragon 865 SoC, was speculated to be named Snapdragon 875 SoC up until now. It comes with a third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G modem that is touted to enable compatibility for both mmWave and sub-6 networks across all major bands worldwide.

    Vivo V20 Pro 5G is set to launch in India at 12pm (noon) today. The flagship Vivo phone was unveiled in Thailand in September and is now making its way to India.     Vivo V20 Pro 5G’s expected price in India was recently revealed by key retailers in the country. The Vivo phone is listed on the website of retailers such as Reliance Digital, Poorvika Mobile, and Sangeetha Mobiles with a price tag of Rs. 29,990 for the single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Customers can also pre-book the phone through its online listings by paying an advance amount of Rs. 2,000. Vivo V20 Pro 5G has also been listed for registrations on Flipkart.

    The Vivo V20 Pro 5G features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. The phone runs on Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11 on top. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. There is also 128GB of internal storage.

    In terms of optics, the Vivo V20 Pro 5G has a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor with an f/1.89 lens. It also has an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The phone has a dual selfie camera, featuring a 44-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. It also comes preloaded with a list of camera-focussed features such as Dual-View Video, Slo-Mo Selfie Video, Super Night Mode, and Motion Autofocus.
