  • New book reveals it was Congress party which stopped Dr APJ Abdul Kalam from becoming India’s President for his second term

The Congress party which has always attacked Prime Minister Modi Government for ill treating the minorities and not treating them equally has in fact no concern for them and has always used them as a placard for fulfilling their political motives.

In a shocking revelation it has come to forefront that Congress and its allies didn’t supported former president APJ Abdul Kalam for presidential position in 2012.BJP and the Trinmool Congress backed him for the position but because of not getting support from Congress party he pulled himself out of the race, reveals new book penned down by historian Rajmohan Gandhi

“After his presidency ended in 2007, Kalam’s enthusiasm for India’s classical culture, his liberal praise for leaders of some Hindu religious bodies, and his earlier work for India’s defence made him Hindu India’s favourite Muslim,” historian Rajmohan Gandhi writes in Modern South India: A History from the 17th Century to Our Times.

“Some political parties, including the BJP and the Trinamool Congress, proposed a willing Kalam for a fresh presidential term in 2012, but the Congress and its allies did not take to the idea. Aware that he lacked the numbers, Kalam did not stand, and Pranab Mukherjee became president, he says

Yet Congress claims to be a secular party. The real worry of Congress was that APJ Abdul Kalam was more popular than Sonia Gandhi so they didn’t want him again to be President.Any popular persons posing threat to the business of Gandhi family were not welcome in the past and the same attitude by this family continues to the present time. What happened to Gayatri Devi, Shastri and Abdul Kalam proves it.

Congress party has always crushed the leader who has come in their path. It basically can’t be stated as the party of the different leaders but it is party of stooges and boot-lickers of Gandhi family. Those who work in accordance with Gandhi’s they are pampered in the party or I can say only those people get place in the party who work according to will of Gandhi’s. Because anybody who will raise the voice against Gandhi’s will be expelled from the party. Under the rule of Congress Government not only the party leaders but any powerful position will be acquired only by that person who will follow the rules and guidelines of Gandhi family or else he will be thrown out . Whatever tactics or strategies the party may have to adopt but the party will not let it happen.

The same is the problem of Congress now. In 2014 people have shown the party its way out by choosing Narendra Modi as a Prime Minister. This hard fact is not being digested by Congress party till now that a Chaiwala has become the PM  who is honestly governing India, who has brought Congress party to its end. So they keep on putting false allegations on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Government.

Folks,It’s again time to teach this party a lesson and not getting trapped in the false net laid by them. Let’s throw this family centric party out in 2019

  • PM Modi arrives in Maldives to attend President-elect Solih’s inauguration

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on Saturday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Maldives President-elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, who surprisingly defeated strongman Abdulla Yameen in September.

This is Modi’s first visit to the Maldives as prime minister. The last visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the Indian Ocean island nation was by Manmohan Singh in 2011.

“I will convey to the new Maldivian Government of Mr Solih the desire of the Indian Government to work closely for realisation of their developmental priorities, especially in areas of infrastructure, health care, connectivity & human resource development,” Modi said in a series of tweets ahead of the visit.

He said the recent elections in the Maldives represent the collective aspirations of the people for democracy, rule of law and a prosperous future.

“We in India strongly desire to see a stable, democratic, prosperous and peaceful Republic of Maldives,” the prime minister said.

Modi also congratulated Solih on his victory in the recent elections and wished him “the very best for his tenure”.

“India and the Maldives share a strong partnership rooted in history, strong bonds between our peoples, and their shared aspiration for peace and prosperity. My Government’s vision of inclusive development ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas’ extends to all our neighbours too,” he said.

Modi also said he will convey to Solih his wish to work with the new Maldives government in different areas to boost bilateral ties.

Solih, the opposition Maldivian Democratic Party’s candidate who surprisingly emerged victorious over incumbent president Yameen in the election held on September 23, had extended the invitation during a phone call by Modi.

The Maldives is the only South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation SAARC country that Modi has not visited. His visit to the Maldives, a strategically vital island and a popular tourist destination, was cancelled in March 2015 due to the volatile political situation then.

India-Maldives ties came under strain under Yameen who was perceived to be close to China. Some decisions by Yameen including imposition of restrictions on work visas for Indians and signing of a new Free Trade Agreement with Beijing also did not go down well with New Delhi.

Relations between India and the Maldives deteriorated further after Yameen imposed emergency on February 5 this year. India had criticised his decision and asked his government to restore the credibility of the electoral and political process by releasing political prisoners. The emergency lasted for 45 days.

  • If Congress appoints ‘external’ as party president, then believe in Nehru’s Democratic system: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday hit back at Congress for its leader Shashi Tharoor’s ‘chaiwala’ remark and dared the party to make someone outside the Gandhi family its president for at least five years.

Modi said if Congress makes someone who is not from the (Gandhi) family as party president for at least five years, then he will believe that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru really created a truly democratic system there. Addressing a campaign rally for the second phase of Chhattisgarh Assembly elections scheduled on November 20, Modi said, “I want to challenge them. Let some good leader of
Congress outside of the family become the party president for five years, then I will say that Nehru ji really created a truly democratic system there”.

Modi’s attack came after Tharoor credited institutional structures created by Jawaharlal Nehru for a “chaiwala” like Narendra Modi becoming the prime minister of the country.

The PM has repeatedly attacked the Gandhi family on the poll trail in Chhattisgarh and continued in the same vein, saying four generations of Congress ruled the nation and they should give an account of what they have done for the country.

“People have disproved that it was the “right of only one family” to speak from the ramparts of the Red Fort in Delhi,” he said.

“You can’t understand the difficulties faced by the poor but a chaiwalla can,” Modi said in an attack on the Congress and the Gandhis.

“They (Congress) have kept the country in the dark with their lies which are ingrained in their minds,” Modi said, not mincing words to target the principal opposition party and its top leaders.

On the impressive turnout in the first phase of polling held on November 10, Modi said, “People of Bastar in Chhattisgarh gave a strong response to Naxals by registering record voting percentage in the first phase”.
