In a rousing address at the CII State Annual Session in Ahmedabad, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel painted a vivid picture of the state’s economic ascent to a one trillion dollar powerhouse by 2030. The event, themed around ‘Gujarat: A $1 Trillion Economy,’ saw industry leaders and policymakers unite under one roof.

‘We’re marching ahead on the growth trajectory envisioned by PM Narendra Modi,’ Patel proclaimed. He pledged full governmental backing to industries, ensuring seamless collaboration for this ambitious target.

Gujarat’s journey from localized industrial hubs to statewide prosperity is inspiring. Investments in critical infrastructure have democratized development, making the state a beacon of progress.

The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit since 2003 has magnetized international capital, cementing Gujarat’s status as an investor’s paradise. Breakthroughs like Micron’s semiconductor ventures exemplify the trust in India’s manufacturing renaissance, led by Gujarat.

Key stats tell the success story: 5% population yields 8% GDP contribution, targeting 10%+. Manufacturing at 17%, exports 33%, cargo handling 40%. Dominance in chemicals (33%), pharma exports (19.2%), diamonds (80%). MSMEs surged from 1.85 lakh to 27.9 lakh.

As a policy-led powerhouse, Gujarat ensures transparency and agility. With a roadmap for Viksit Bharat@2047 already in motion, the state is poised not just to hit $1 trillion but to redefine economic leadership in India.

In a strong show of support, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has endorsed the 2026-27 state budget, calling it a masterstroke for inclusive and self-reliant development. Unveiled by Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy during the ninth session of the assembly on March 16, the budget reflects fiscal discipline amid the challenges of governing a small northeastern state.

During his address in the assembly, Saha lauded the document’s comprehensive approach. ‘Financial prudence is key, and this budget exemplifies it,’ he stated. ‘It’s designed to uplift every societal segment—from youth and women to tribals and minorities—while aligning with PM Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.’

The budget’s inclusivity stands out, with tailored provisions addressing the unique needs of students, employees, pensioners, and marginalized communities. Saha noted its synchronization with the Union Budget, reinforcing national goals of economic self-sufficiency.

Drawing parallels to India’s global economic rise—from 11th to 4th position and eyeing 3rd by 2030—Saha positioned Tripura’s fiscal strategy as integral to this momentum. Key sectors like agriculture, tourism, skill development, and digital infrastructure receive boosted funding, promising job creation and enhanced living standards.

As debates conclude, the budget’s passage appears certain, buoyed by the CM’s full backing. This could mark a pivotal shift for Tripura, driving equitable prosperity and resilience in the face of regional challenges.

In a stirring address amid International Women’s Day celebrations in New Delhi, Leena Rahane of Rashtrasevika Samiti declared women as the cornerstone of PM Modi’s ambitious Viksit Bharat 2047 plan. The ‘Bharati-Nari se Narayani’ conference served as a vibrant forum for these empowering dialogues.

Rahane, speaking to media, explained how the ‘Nari se Narayani’ philosophy ignites a sense of honor and self-worth among women. She called for seamless execution of initiatives in education and healthcare, advocating universal access. ‘Policies are only as good as their reach to the last woman standing,’ she remarked.

The sessions, she said, spotlighted women-led growth as essential to Modi’s vision. Encouraging self-awareness and broader societal duties, Rahane envisioned women fostering safer communities and accelerating national progress toward 2047 goals.

Shashi Buwana, a prominent entrepreneur, emphasized cross-class solidarity. ‘Women from every background face distinct battles, but events like this reveal shared pains and collective wisdom, turning empathy into actionable change,’ she observed.

Renowned figure Lakshmi Puri conveyed warm wishes globally, feeling privileged to join a national convergence of women’s aspirations. These exchanges not only celebrated achievements but also strategized for an equitable, empowered future, with women at the forefront of India’s development narrative.

In a move blending tradition with modernity, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced three premier wedding destinations in the recent state budget, targeting Pijonr, Kharakho’da, and Manesar. Addressing gatherings in Sonipat on March 3, Saini described the Rs 2.23 lakh crore financial plan for 2026-27 as all-encompassing.

Every demographic finds mention: from women empowerment schemes to youth skilling programs, farmer support, and poverty alleviation measures. ‘Developed Haryana is accelerating under PM Modi’s guidance,’ Saini noted, linking state progress to national goals.

The budget’s rural thrust shines through the launch of ‘Haryana Agri Discom’, a specialized electricity firm for farmers, ensuring uninterrupted power for irrigation and farming operations. This addresses longstanding grievances in the agrarian heartland.

Drawing from PM Modi’s call to make India a wedding tourism hotspot, Saini committed to building facilities that rival international venues. ‘No more foreign trips for our weddings; we’ll attract global couples to Haryana,’ he promised, envisioning an influx of tourists and revenue.

Fiscal health remains robust, with projected fiscal deficit at 2.65% of GSDP (Rs 40,293.17 crore), revenue deficit at 0.87%, and effective capital expenditure at 2.32%. As the second budget from the finance-handling CM, it signals steady stewardship.

Haryana’s blueprint for tomorrow promises equitable development, where festive celebrations fuel economic momentum. These wedding destinations could position the state as a national leader in experiential tourism, fostering jobs and cultural pride.

In a fervent call to action, Union Minister Virendra Kumar addressed reporters in Panaji on Friday, underscoring the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan’s’ potential to eradicate drug menace from India. Aligning with PM Modi’s resolute declaration in 2020, the minister vowed that substance abuse among the youth is unacceptable and must be rooted out.

Kumar praised the involvement of Goa’s leadership, including CM Pramod Sawant, for making the event possible. ‘Society’s luminaries, especially the youth, are key stakeholders in this meaningful drive,’ he said. What began as a targeted effort in vulnerable areas has now blanketed all districts, reflecting the gravity of the issue and the belief in its societal benefits.

Central and state governments are synergizing to host these programs universally, with enthusiastic participation from all walks of life. The minister revealed staggering figures: 25 crore participants overall, 9 crore youth, 5 crore women, and activities in 16 lakh schools via creative contests. This nationwide push is not just awareness—it’s a movement building real change, paving the way for comprehensive progress in regions like Goa.

The AI Summit in New Delhi emerged as a beacon of India’s technological aspirations, drawing international attention to its AI and digital innovation ecosystem. Participants debated strategies to harness these technologies for sustainable growth.

Hailing from Panipat, Prof. (Dr.) Sushil Kumar Mishra endorsed PM Narendra Modi’s forward-thinking approach to tech-infused governance. Speaking candidly, he lauded the emphasis on digital tools for greater accountability and efficiency in public administration.

Examples abound: Aadhaar-enabled welfare programs, efficient tax systems, and improved PDS operations demonstrate tangible gains. ‘Corruption has diminished, and services reach the last mile directly,’ Dr. Mishra observed. He stressed that technological supremacy is key to India’s global power status, with AI at the forefront.

This summit marks India’s shift from follower to leader in tech arenas. It broadcasts India’s vision and readiness on a global stage. The government’s inclusive strategy ensures digital benefits flow to every citizen via DBT and online banking.

Rising smartphone adoption, 5G rollout, and 6G preparations pave the way for AI to transform villages. Hosting such events enhances India’s global image, positioning it as a digital powerhouse.

On IYC’s demonstrations, Dr. Mishra called for restraint, arguing that international forums demand unity. Domestic politics belongs in legislative houses, not disrupting national showcases. All parties must rally behind India’s leadership ambitions.

AI isn’t mere policy—it’s the blueprint for a prosperous future for 1.4 billion people. Rising above politics to prioritize development is imperative, he affirmed.

In a rousing speech to thousands of Grameen Dak Sevaks in Guntur, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Communications Minister, outlined ambitious plans to transform India Post into a modern powerhouse.

The event, graced by AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, evoked personal nostalgia for Scindia. Their association traces back decades, with Naidu working closely with Scindia’s iconic family members—his grandmother and father.

Adding a local flavor, Scindia pointed to an Andhra town bearing his family name, ‘Sindhia.’ He shared how his great-grandfather established a thriving maritime business pre-independence on these shores.

Rural postal agents, Scindia declared, are the true pulse of rural India. They endure all weathers, connecting remote hamlets from Himalayan heights to coastal plains, serving as the unbreakable trust link in 6.5 lakh-plus villages nationwide.

Scindia’s past contributions include essential perks like rain gear, footwear, office supplies, and cycle allowances for GDS. A landmark 2009 move ensured their kids’ access to central schools via official notification.

Boasting 380 million savings accounts with Rs 22 trillion deposits, India Post exemplifies reliability.

Fueled by Modi’s reform mantra, the postal service is evolving rapidly. Andhra Pradesh, with its economic surge, is poised to dominate parcel delivery as farm exports, small businesses, and online shopping explode. India Post’s 1.65 lakh outlets ensure it remains a formidable player.

In a rousing defense of India’s tech revolution, BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi declared the nation ecstatic about its global AI leadership. Speaking amid the prestigious World AI Summit in India,…

In a rousing defense of India’s tech revolution, BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi declared the nation ecstatic about its global AI leadership. Speaking amid the prestigious World AI Summit in India, attended by international heavyweights including UN chief Antonio Guterres and France’s Emmanuel Macron, Trivedi contrasted national pride with opposition gloom.

‘Our tech community is buzzing with excitement, citizens beaming with pride—yet Congress hasn’t uttered a word of praise,’ Trivedi said. He accused opposition figures of prioritizing jealousy towards PM Modi over celebrating progress. ‘Technological development must transcend politics; their silence is unfortunate,’ he stressed.

Trivedi recalled BJP’s tenure in opposition, where it steadfastly recognized and lauded every advancement. Now, with India hosting global leaders and IT giants at the AI summit, the country showcases its growing influence in artificial intelligence.

Dismissing earlier naysayers who questioned Indians’ tech savvy—like a certain ex-Finance Minister—Trivedi highlighted India’s top rank in digital payments and AI prowess. This success stems from PM Modi’s strategic foresight, bolstered by Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s exemplary efforts.

Wrapping up with wit, Trivedi called AI ‘Kritim Buddhi,’ a stellar feat that ‘those with distorted intellect’ can’t applaud. India’s journey from doubt to dominance marks a new era, one the opposition stubbornly ignores.

Gujarat took a giant stride toward rural empowerment as Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel virtually laid the foundation stone for 2666 gram panchayat homes integrated with patwari residences, all from one…

Gujarat took a giant stride toward rural empowerment as Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel virtually laid the foundation stone for 2666 gram panchayat homes integrated with patwari residences, all from one location in Bhadran, Anand. This Rs 663 crore initiative aligns seamlessly with PM Narendra Modi’s push for self-reliant villages under Atmanirbhar Bharat.

‘We’re fully committed to achieving saturation in village infrastructure as envisioned by our Prime Minister,’ declared Patel. The government’s bold decision ensures every panchayat in the state will soon boast its dedicated building, streamlining service delivery at the grassroots level.

The event doubled as the grand launch of the Mukhyamantri Gramotthan Yojana, targeting 114 taluka-headquarter villages without municipal bodies. Phase one brings city-like facilities—roads, water, sanitation, solar lights, digital governance, and community spaces—directly to these rural hubs.

Expanding the vision, Patel announced inclusion of panchayats with over 10,000 residents, fostering equitable growth that reduces urban migration and embodies PM Modi’s inclusive development mantra. ‘Development’s pace and scale have transformed under Modi’s leadership; now, rural areas get the spotlight to balance urbanization,’ he noted.

Special emphasis was placed on sustainability: the ‘Catch the Rain’ drive promotes rainwater storage and aquifer recharge, backed by Rs 50 lakh grants per MLA. Promoting natural, cow-centric agriculture, Patel called for soil regeneration to benefit future generations.

On this poignant day—30 January, honoring martyrs and Gandhiji—Patel invoked the Mahatma’s call for village self-governance as a timeless blueprint for nation-building. Rural Housing Minister Rishikesh Patel commended the CM’s drive, hailing the start of construction for these vital structures and aspiring for 10,000+ modern secretariats. ‘Gandhi’s words ring true: India’s soul lives in its villages,’ he affirmed, congratulating local leaders like Bhadran’s sarpanch for holistic development.

Himachal Pradesh is set to witness a youth revolution in politics with the BJP’s ‘Yuva Changemaker’ program, unveiled by MP Anurag Thakur. Designed to channel the energy of young minds into nation-building, the fellowship draws inspiration from PM Modi’s call for youth involvement in governance.

During a press briefing in Dharamshala, Thakur outlined the program’s structure. Launching on Basant Panchami, it invites applications from across the state starting January 25—Himachal Day—via online portals until March 23. With boot camps at district and state levels, the event anticipates 10,000+ entrants culminating in a spectacular finale.

Twenty-one top performers will earn a prestigious one-year fellowship worth Rs 1,21,000 each. Selection by an impartial panel emphasizes practical aptitude (60%) over theory (40%). ‘We’ll assess how they can transform Himachal—ideas for development and change,’ Thakur noted.

A unique feature requires finalists to immerse in rural life for 24 hours, tackling real village issues. Post-selection, each fellow gets a 100-volunteer team to implement projects over the year, ensuring tangible impact.

Opportunities abound for shadowing legislators, contributing to policy formulation, and executing welfare programs. ‘This is about learning governance, serving society, and building a stronger state,’ Thakur affirmed.

As applications open, the program signals BJP’s commitment to youth empowerment, potentially reshaping Himachal’s political landscape with fresh, dynamic voices.
