In a resounding endorsement, Kota’s Rajasthan Technical University Vice-Chancellor Nimit Chaudhary declared the India AI Impact Summit 2026 a pivotal boost to India’s AI ecosystem. Addressing reporters on Monday, he praised PM Narendra Modi’s vision in hosting the event, which catapults the nation into the league of AI powerhouses.

‘This summit fortifies our infrastructure foundations for AI’s explosive growth,’ Chaudhary noted. He envisioned India spearheading global AI advancements, backed by robust governmental support. The gathering of international heads of state and tech luminaries amplified India’s narrative as an innovation hub.

Chaudhary condemned the Youth Congress’s unruly behavior at the venue. ‘Politics has no business here amid demonstrations of national strength,’ he said firmly. With productivity at stake, he called such actions misguided, urging focus on collaborative progress instead.

Recapping PM Modi’s powerful speech, Chaudhary highlighted AI’s role in amplifying human potential exponentially. Modi portrayed it as the fastest technological upheaval ever, urging a grand vision paired with profound responsibility. The summit’s ethos revolves around fostering empathetic, accountable AI that prioritizes humanity.

Looking ahead, Chaudhary stressed alternative channels for dissent. ‘Global forums demand decorum to build lasting partnerships,’ he concluded. India’s AI trajectory, energized by this summit, promises ethical leadership and widespread societal benefits in the years to come.

At the India AI Impact Summit 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi painted AI as humanity’s next evolutionary leap, capable of exponentially enhancing human potential during his address on Thursday.

Speaking to a global audience, Modi compared AI’s trajectory to historic tech shifts, noting its accelerated pace. ‘The journey from machine learning to machines that learn is not just faster but deeper and more widespread,’ he remarked.

He called for expansive thinking paired with profound accountability, extending concerns to posterity. ‘We must shape AI today so tomorrow’s generations inherit a tool for empowerment, not peril,’ Modi said.

Shifting focus, he reframed the AI discourse: not on futuristic possibilities, but on present-day ethical applications. The summit, he noted, aims to humanize AI, fostering sensitivity and responsibility.

Underpinning India’s stance is the theme ‘Sarvajan Hitaya – Sarvajan Sukhaya,’ prioritizing universal welfare. Modi pushed for AI democratization, transforming it into a vehicle for inclusion and strength in developing regions.

He contrasted this with corporate tendencies to hoard AI codes as secrets, arguing openness is key. ‘Only public codes can unlock AI’s potential for worldwide good,’ the PM affirmed, setting India as a leader in open AI governance.

In a landmark address at the inauguration of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi positioned artificial intelligence as one of history’s most significant…

In a landmark address at the inauguration of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi positioned artificial intelligence as one of history’s most significant upheavals for human society. ‘Today’s AI insights are merely the opening chapter of its full revolutionary potential,’ he remarked on Thursday.

The event at Bharat Mandapam draws global attention as the largest AI summit ever hosted in a nation representing a sixth of humanity. Modi spotlighted India’s advantages: its youthful population, vast tech talent reserves, and dynamic tech ecosystem that excels in both creating and swiftly integrating cutting-edge tools.

With 1.4 billion citizens ready to dive into tech adoption, the PM welcomed international heads of state, AI leaders, and innovators. Youth turnout at the summit, he noted, signals rising optimism and capability.

Modi reflected on how early doubts about new tech fade against the backdrop of worldwide youth embracing AI with remarkable speed and trust. The exhibition’s highlights – indigenous solutions for farming, national security, support for disabled individuals, and handling diverse languages – exemplify ‘Made in India’ strength and India’s AI leadership.

Beyond empowering machines, AI exponentially boosts human abilities, Modi argued. He warned of its dual nature: unregulated, it disrupts; directed wisely, it solves. Drawing a parallel to GPS navigation, he said AI provides directions while humans retain decision-making authority. Humanity’s steering of AI today shapes tomorrow’s world.

Looking ahead, the Prime Minister foresaw AI unlocking premium jobs focused on creativity and purpose, fueling startups, and birthing industries. He called for nationwide drives in upskilling and continuous education. An inclusive, reliable, human-focused work paradigm awaits, where collective progress propels AI to amplify human achievement like never before.

The India AI Impact Summit 2026 has drawn an international crowd to New Delhi, spotlighting AI’s transformative potential for the Global South. For the first time, this high-profile event is unfolding in the region, with specialists exchanging strategies to integrate AI into critical areas like farming and public health.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Diabi from the Digital Transformation Delivery Unit pointed to AI’s universal appeal. ‘African nations need inclusion in this global push,’ he explained. ‘Our focus is leveraging AI against challenges in key sectors via innovative collaborations.’

Croatian diplomat Branimir Farkas reflected on addresses by PM Narendra Modi and President Emmanuel Macron. ‘They emphasized responsible AI use that respects our shared civilizational path,’ Farkas observed.

Greece’s Vassilios Michael Karkatzounis lauded the initiative. ‘This event is crucial, and India’s role is commendable, as noted by Macron who mentioned Greece specifically,’ he shared. ‘Global agreement on AI norms is imperative to ensure it aids humanity without displacing it.’

Representing the Greek delegation, Vassilis Koutsoumpas advocated for equitable AI benefits. ‘Inclusivity means distributing technology’s social and economic gains universally,’ he said, aligning with leaders like Modi, Macron, and Mitsotakis.

Aurora Russi from Italy’s embassy in New Delhi appreciated the human focus. ‘We share India’s values of placing humans at the center, making this summit exceptionally valuable.’

Alexandros Boudouris, another Greek voice, was inspired by Modi’s words. ‘My three years in India showed me its profound humanity—perfect for addressing AI’s societal effects.’

As discussions intensify, the summit underscores the need for unified global standards to guide AI’s future responsibly.
